First our crews will strip topsoil off the new site and pile it out of the way, stakes will then be set on all the corners of the basement. After that the basement and the footers will be dug out using an excavator with a man running a laser stick to keep all the grades nice and level.
The dirt coming out of basement will either be loaded onto trucks and hauled off site or if the dirt is needed to raise the elevations around the house a dozer will be used to push away the dirt.The masonary walls will be laid up and then we will backfill these walls with "gravel" (Very important!)

J.Miller has worked on several construction projects for me over the years, always impressed with Jeff and his attention to detail, and the speed and quality of work they do. They work with modern and high tech equipment to ensure precise grading. Even for small things like needing one load of gravel, they provide fast and friendly service.

My wife and I would like to Thank , J Miller & Son Excavating for their quick response to our home in Sugarcreek. Professional, caring and knowledgeable service quickly corrected our issue.
They went over and above to protect our yard by limiting damage and repair. By their suggestion too, they took materials offsite and brought back when needed. I was looking to have a total mess of my front yard.
It was a very hot day and the digging was extremely difficult but the guys in the trench worked hard only taking a break while waiting for the truck to return from hauling materials off site. While
