After working with alterations and clothing production for 31 years in California, Nevada, and Arizona, we decided to open our own alteration and custom design shop that would offer quality alterations at a reasonable price. The Fit Alterations and Custom Designs opened in 2009 with our original location on 7th Street just South of Bethany Home.

I have been coming for a year here. It is hard to find and keep a place that provides consistent and pleasant customer service, the right service( and fit) and competitive price for the worksmanship. Going to a small business for me takes time to get acquanted with, as I have gotten to know Dennis'(the owner) and his crews' skills in tailoring and how to properly dress for work.

I brought my custom suit that I got from Men's Wearhouse since I lost some weight. They honestly did an amazing job, I did not rush it, and it was phenomenal. The suit was perfect in every way. I can move my arms around comfortably without the jacket going up or being stressed. The pants were relaxed and fitted to where if I sat down, they wouldn't fold or crease against my skin.

I was referred to The Fit for altering an '80's silk plaid blazer of my dreams that I found at Saver's for only dollars. It fit perfect but the shoulder pads were WAAAAY too much. They were able to carefully and successfully remove 1/2 of the bulk that was more flattering to my small frame. It's hard to find a place that will take such great care of your old and new treasures. Have confidence this is your place! Thank you for your care of my new favorite blazer!!

My clothes were not done at scheduled time. So I had to pick my clothes a week later. But when I picked up clothes I my pants were not completed. The issue was something that could have been corrected a week earlier. I paid for work up front and was not sure why no compensation was offered for my wasted time. Very frustrated with how it was handled. I didn't feel my clothes received quality attention. The work once completed appears good. But I do not plan to return.

Very reasonable price with good quality and fast turn around. I had an emergency needed in 24 hours bridesmaids dress. While the regular time frame was one week they were able to rush it in 24 hours for a slight rush fee. WOW was I impressed. Several other places said it was impossible but this place got it done. They rock!

Last weekend I went to this spot because of all the positive reviews. Many reviews had mentioned how great he was at accommodating same day alterations. I went in on Saturday as I had an emergency alteration needed for my bridal shower dress. He promised he would have it ready same day in the afternoon if not earlier and that he would give me a call. I'm truly disappointed that I did not receive a call back to go pick up the dress. I was so busy that I did not call myself and ended up having to wear a different dress than the pretty dress I ordered just for my bridal shower. I still haven't received
