KTD-3 is our most updated rooftop 12V A/C model. The KTD-3 rooftop A/C unit is the perfect solution for custom vans, RV's, small equipment cabs, and class 4-8 trucks. They feature a no-idle 12V comfort system that charges while driving. The A/C is powered by an auxiliary battery than can provide energy to either the full-electric A/C unit or the inverter, enabling hours of cooling while the engine is off.

I have emailed the company a number of times requesting information about the KTD-2 now KTD-3. They never return my emails. One question I had was how do you get 11000 BTU from an AC unit that only draws 50 AMPs. That is an extremely high EER rating. Much higher than any other 12V units out there. I also find it interesting that they can raise the BTU output from 6800BTU (KTD-1) to 11000BTU (KTD-3) without any increase in required power. Also asked a simple question about the power cables which are shown to be on the outside of the unit. No one could/would tell me if the power could be run through

Bought a unit 7 months ago, almost 14k investment and is already not working. Try to fix 2 times, but always goes for the same problem. Still on warranty, but they don't have anyone on my state to fix it. and when I try to call them, never has anyone who can help me.
I'm waiting for the general manager almost a month.
