Martin's Motel is a family owned motel located on Main Street in Madawaska, Maine. Open year-round, we cater to all types of travelers. We offer discounted weekly rates, we are pet friendly, and ALL non-smoking! For our snowmobiling friends, we are located on ITS 83. At Martin's Motel we strive on providing clean, comfortable and affordable room rates to fit any budget.

Enter as a guest, leave a friend. Martin's Motel was opened in 1971 by Martin Lavoie, a lifelong resident of Madawaska. In 1993 Martin handed down ownership of the motel to his son Mike and daughter in law Laurie, where they resided and operated until 2002. In 2002 Martin's Motel went out of the Lavoie family for the first time and was purchased by Bruce & Jean Ouellette (current owners).

If you are in the Madawaska, ME area and looking for a nice, clean, functional comfortable motel to stay in, at a reasonable rate, I would highly recommend Martin's Motel. The owner is friendly, helpful and professional. Beds are comfortable. Television, refrigerator and plumbing all works great. Close to stores, restaurants and easy to find. I'd highly recommend Martin's.

I stayed at this hotel while passing through Madawaska (the Continental USA's most northeasterly corner) as part of the USA 4 Corners Motorcycle Tour. If you've been through this part of Maine, you'll know that the "pickins' is slim," as they say in that part of Maine.
I crossed back into the US from Canada at Ft. Kent, Maine, where US Highway 1 begins. I arrived to Madawaska - my 3rd corner in my motorcycle tour - just a few minutes later, and checked into Madawaska's finest motel (Martin's).
