I started my career with a large insurance company in 2003 and was trained extensively on how to sell their insurance and investment products. After less than a year I realized that I loved the idea of helping people through financial advice and guidance, but I also realized that selling products was not for me.
For more than 15 years, I've gained first-hand experience working with Ohio teachers and helping them understand their STRS benefits and plan for their future. My wife is a Speech Therapist for Riverside Local Schools, my mom retired in 2020 as a Special Education teacher for Mentor Public Schools, and my mother-in-law retired in 2010 as a teach for Mentor Public Schools.
