Services
Both Native Texans, owners Phillip and Leslie Smithwick started catering in 2001 as a part time business under the name Hospitality For Hire. While catering part time, Phillip continued to work full time gaining a wide range of experience as Executive Chef in a Country Club, Executive Chef for a Catering Company, Executive Chef of a startup restaurant concept, and a Private Chef and House Manager in the Highland Park area of Dallas.
With over 1100 Chef created, scratch made menu items, it's impossible to post pictures of everything. Here is a glimpse of just a portion of what we have to offer. Amazing wedding catering experience. They went above and beyond to make our day special. The chef even went the extra mile to make a special dessert for me (the bride) because I had mentioned an allergy and stated that I get sad because I can never have banana pudding and presto unexpectedly he made special pudding for me. The food was off the charts GREAT! Every single person stated how fantastic the food had been. The staff went above the call by helping the elderly guest safely to chairs with plates. We contracted with Seven Loaves for my daughter's wedding in July. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They had a team of employees who helped us with a room flip which was a huge bonus and much appreciated. Seven Loaves delivered exactly what we contracted and their team was professional. You arrived early, everything was neatly organized, help set everything up, and it looked great and tasted even better. The food was absolutely delicious! From the detail of providing food name plates, to the complimentary fresh cookies, everyone was so pleased! People went out of their way to email me to tell me how good it was! They also said that the cookies were the best they’d ever had. The hand written thank you note was just the cherry on top of a wonderful lunch from you all. We cannot wait to start working with Seven Loaves Catering more often.

Seven Loaves did our afternoon wedding and they were wonderful! Since it was in between lunch and dinner, we did a variety of hors d'oeuvres which all tasted fantastic. It was a full service, buffet style event and their service was impeccable. We had full plates waiting at our sweetheart table and they came by several times to get us more food and drink. They provided a cake cutting service and even boxed up individual slices for us to give to guests as parting treats. Great caterer! Would recommend to anyone!

We are in the midst of a pandemic, and I wanted to add an addition to my review for this great caterer! They added to their services famiy meal options for pickup! We love their food, so we tried it, and we were absolutely not disappointed! They have online ordering which was very easy to navigate. Every week, there is a different menu, so choices are exceptional! We ordered two family meals which came in containers ready to heat or freeze. Neither of our meals got to the freezer! lol! The food was generous in portions and delicous! The best thing was the cost, which averaged around $8 per person

We had Seven Loaves cater our Wedding December 21. We procrastinated getting the catering lined up but you could not tell that by their service or quality. They did an outstanding job and thought of everything! The menus were easy to pick from and the pricing was reasonable. Plus they showed up early and had everything set up and ready to go on time. Very self-sufficient and organized. Oh and the food was terrific. Lots of guests were wanting to take leftovers lol. Will try to post some pics. The layout looked great. We will be using Seven Loaves again! Thanks guys!!

A great evening at our party for 25.
Hannah and Jackie were personable, professional, prompt and a pleasure to have in our home. They made it easy for me to enjoy my guests. That is my reason for hiring Seven Loaves... to take care of the details....food and staff. I usually do it all on my own, then the party is over and I never had a chance to visit! So paying for food and hiring staff is the way to go. And the food is delicious! We had 3 apps, grazing table and taco bar. Our guests raved about food and wanted a business card from caterer:)

Neither Sylvia nor myself saw them smile throughout the evening and the event started off with one of the servers being rude to one of my bridesmaids while we were getting ready.

I believe the service was great, the service throughout the entire process was great. I thought the food was ok. My husband and I entered the reception a little later after photos, but our food was cold, so I can't say that I got the best version of it since it had been out for a while. The breadsticks were so hard, they were inedible by our guests. I, nor my husband could eat them and I notified Ashley during the wedding. The green beans were shriveled and a little dry. I also thought the Chicken Marsala could have been better, it tasted less like a caterer/gourmet and more store bought

I used seven loaves for my moms 50th birthday party. Ashley helped us from day one, was quick with responses and helped us through the process. She even delivered out I'm Allen. The only negative I would say is I wish we were able to sample the food before ordering, however everything we got was delicious. Crab cakes, chicken skewers, beef crostini , spinach dip, humus, bruschetta, cheese tray, olives, pickles, peppers, and a meat tray.

Exactly what we needed.
Each year we host a client appreciation party with over 100 guests but this was the first year we enlisted seven loaves help. Ashley Nichols personally saw our event through from beginning to end and was a big reason why our clients left happy. I highly recommend speaking with Ashley.

Catered our companies grand opening with 50 guests with only 2 1/2 hours notice! This included set up, linens, service food and open bar. I was worried and skeptical. These folks are MIRACLE workers! Everything was beautiful! Our guests raved about the food and the service! Our company leadership and clients were greatly impressed. We were in a bind and this team came through for us! As good a job as they did, I can't even imagine what they could do with proper notice. This will be our caterer of choice for every event!

Used them for the first time to cater a business dinner for 14 out of town guests. They were easy to work with, very professional, and accommodating. Their prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the food arrived hot and tasted delicious. Everyone raved about the braised steak tenderloin. I will use them again, and I highly recommend this service.
