The business started as a part-time job when Huthwaite was working for Merrill Lynch while her husband, now Giant Janitorial's vice-president, was in school.

THIS COMPANY IS SO DISGRACEFULLY UNPROFESSIONAL!
THE STAFF I HAVE SEEN ARE ALL ALCOHOLICS & DRUG ADDICT'S
I WAS MAKING MY ROUNDS WHERE I WORK & CAUGHT EMPLOYEES SLEEPING ON THE JOB......I ALSO WITNESSED EMPLOYEES CLOCK-IN & LEAVE THE WORK SITE, THEN COME BACK TO THE WORKSITE & CLOCK-OUT LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING ALL DAY! BATHROOMS DO NOT BE CLEANED TO MY SATISFACTORY....... TRASH DOES NOT BE TAKEN OUT TO THE DUMPSTER! THE FLOORS ARE FILTHY.....I ASKED ONE EMPLOYEE NAMED DARLENE TO SWEEP & MOP THE LOBBY...THIS DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEE TOLD ME THATS NOT HER JOB.......GO FIND A MAN TO DO THAT! I
