This was a perfect house for our first ever reunion. The great room was a wonderful gathering place for cocktails, conversation and food. Everything was very clean and sparking. We had three generations and there was plenty of space for everyone. The deck on the top floor was wonderful for watching the sunrise and the sunset and also for viewing the "blue moon".
We made good use of the grill and found the kitchen more than adequate for cooking meals. Since we also rented another large house in the area, we were able to provide appetizer's and deserts from the other venue. Whenever there was a problem, and it was minor (need toilet paper) Jason appeared within minutes.

The first red flag about this rental company is that they do not respond to any of their reviews. That tells any potential customer that they just dont care about the customer. As a full-time resident of Lakeview it's so unfortunate that there is a company like this here representing our community. Makes me sick!
We are looking for a place to host our family that will be coming in town for our now family only wedding. Whomever I was emailing with told me basically that you can not host families in any of these properties. So if you can not host families in a place that accommodates 24 people,

Our experience renting from Bluefish Vacation Rentals was a great experience!! They were able to stock our refrigerator with requested items and had a beautiful charcuterie board waiting for us. The house was very clean and in excellent condition!! Jason and Erika were helpful and informative. They had great recommendations and helped make our stay one of our best ever!! Will definitely rent again with them!!

What a great experience, from the booking online, to the follow up emails, it was an easy process. Bluefish Vacation Rentals offered great recommendations for the local area. Highly impressed with all of the other goodies you can order, charcuterie boards, grocery delivery, and even firewood. We cannot wait to plan our next vacation with Bluefish!

BEWARE!!! I AM STUNNED AT THE BEHAVIOR OF THE OWNERS .. i understand why this company is barely over 3.5 star rating and falling. I read many of the bad reviews and they are spot on.
I had the most insulting experience here that I have ever had with a company, arrogant… rude and aggressive toward me.
I was threatened to be sued by them if I spoke about what I felt
happened and also if I spoke about what I have heard about this company . I was also threatened by their attorney if I spoke about it (yes, they had their attorney threaten me in writing to sue me as well if I spoke about it)

My family and I stayed at one of the Union Pier/ Gowdy Shores cottages in July, 2020 and had a really great experience. With this specific cottage at Gowdy Shores, we were also allowed us to bring our two small/medium dogs with us, which was very nice. The property was well-maintained, clean, well appointed, had newer furniture, and management (Trisha) was prompt and responsive to any questions that we had. We loved the location at Gowdy Shores with only being about one block from Lake Michigan and with a private homeowners beach! We will definitely rent from blue fish vacation rentals again in

We just returned from our second vacation rental with Bluefish Vacations and could not be happier with this company and their properties. Everything is top notch—communication was excellent, any question answered immediately, properties were spotless and included everything we could have needed for a great stay. So nice and easy (and more affordable) to work with a local company instead of Airbnb or others.
