Services
At Illinois SW Orthopedics, we offer treatment to provide relief for a wide spectrum of bone, joint, muscle and ligament conditions, including those incurred while playing sports or through work-related accidents. So whether you are a top athlete or a weekend warrior needing care, we'll do all we can to help you get back to what you love doing most.
When you participate in sports and physical fitness activities, you can injure the soft tissues of your body. Even simple everyday activities can damage these ligaments, tendons and muscles. Any of these can be the result of a single episode, such as a fall, a sudden twist or a blow to the body. You might also sustain one or more of these injuries because of repeated overuse, such as in ongoing athletic activities.
If your elbow pain is severe or persistent, it's important to see the specialists at Illinois SW Orthopedics for diagnosis and treatment. The inability to carry objects or use your arm, elbow pain that happens while resting, the ability to straighten your arm as well as swelling, bruising and signs of an infection like fever and redness, all mean something's not right and assistance may be needed.
Most everyone has felt a twinge in the wrist after spending a long time on the computer or performing some kind of repetitive task. Nerve disorders like carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome may start with mild discomfort, but over time, can interfere with both your life and work. And, while treatments like medication may help, sometimes surgery is determined to be the best option for longer-term relief.
Trigger finger is a condition in which one of your fingers or your thumb catches in a bent position. Your finger or thumb may straighten with a snap - like a trigger being pulled and released. If trigger finger is severe, your finger may become locked in a bent position. An often painful condition, trigger finger is caused by a narrowing of the sheath that surrounds the tendon in the affected finger.

Nobody here can get their act together. Receptionists are extremely difficult to work with. Administration is forgetful. It’s difficult to get anyone on the phone. Unless you have a straightforward issue they’ll just send you somewhere else or tell you to go to PT even if you’ve already done it. I had to push them to do further imaging. Don’t waste your time. 2 stars because I thought the Dr was nice.

The Physical Therapy was terrific. The Dr.'s on the main level are the worst I have ever seen.

Top notch care from the initial evaluation throughout the therapy sessions. I will return here whenever I need PT. Now that my latest therapy is complete, I find that I miss their thoughtful, insightful interaction and commentary.
