Debbie and Tim Bishop bought Medicine Bow Lodge in 2002. The ranch is rich in history, with the lodge being built in the early 1917, with the original kitchen and dining room still in tact, and functioning to serve our guests delicious meals. Medicine Bow Lodge operates as a guest dude ranch during late spring, summer, and fall.
What sets MBL apart from other guest ranches is the personal touch and attention that each and every guest will experience during their stay. From the interaction with Debbie and Tim themselves to our amazing team members. We want this to be an extraordinary opportunity for them to unplug, unwind, to truly enjoy and reconnect with their families.

The Medicine Bow Lodge is nothing short of a slice of heaven on earth. We've ridden many trails and the trails here are among the most beautiful. The food is amazing and cabin was very comfortable. Not sure if it was the mattress, the cozy quilt or serenity all around but we slept more soundly than we had in years. Tim, Debbie and Susan are salt of the earth and wonderful hosts and the staff were attentive and accomodating to any requests. We highly recommend and will visit again. We had such a fabulous experience that I'm planning to bring my women's retreat to this location in the future. Thank

We had a relaxing and wonderful time at Medicine Bow Lodge.
My husband and I stayed at Medicine Bow Lodge and couldn't have wished for a better experience. The ranch is family run and everyone is super friendly and welcoming!! it almost felt as if they were long-time friends! We will recommend going if you want to disconnect from everyday stress and connect with family and nature. Also, you will be able to taste Debbie's wonderful food.Last but not least; for me the best part the horseback riding experience, it was super enjoyable. We will be back!!!!

I had a great 3 day weekend getaway here. Tim and Debbie are wonderful people and so are their dogs. Tim is a awesome cook and took exceptional care of me and my friends. The cabin was cozy and clean. The lodge is just fascinating with all the history and rustic appearance. Tim kept the lodge very warm and cozy and was very accommodating. The only thing that could have made the trip better would have been better snow conditions. I would refer anybody I know to go experience this lodge. Good times. Thanks Tim and Debbie.
