Azteca Market is a family-owned business, opened in 2005. Our mission is to bring traditional products, found in Mexico and Latin America, and make them available to the individual, family, and community of the Napa Valley. Our grocery offers canned goods, fresh produce, traditional sweet pastries, Hispanic cut meats, poultry, and beer. Our Taqueria, which is a favorite in the Napa Valley, serves a variety of hot, prepared foods to go. We welcome you and your family to our markets in Napa and St. Helena.

As everyone else says, this place is a gem. Super clean Mexican grocery with some burritos and a nice patio space. Service was excellent.
We got the bacon breakfast burrito, and it was one of the best breakfast burritos we've had in our lives ... just tasty and hearty and the green salsa was excellent.
We paid $12 and split the burrito between the two of us, and it was the best meal we had in Napa for the weekend ...

I love Azteca. Their market is so clean and well maintained. The meat counter is pristine and there are some great choices. The Picadilla taco meat is my favorite. They have a good menu of food behind the counter. They swear the salsa the put on the food is mild, but it's got some kick. This has become one of my most favorite places to shop.

So so yummy!! we stumbled upon this place on the way home from mass this morning and it was so delicious. my mom said that it reminded her of her childhood meals in mexico. the staff were all SO sweet and wanted to interact with us. we ate the asada tacos (YUM) which came with salsa, cilantro, and onion. my mom got the simple burrito and it was so delicious as well.

There are a handful of Mexican markets in the Napa Valley and the two Azteca Markets should be a must for any tourist.
I've been frequenting both locations since I first visited Azteca in St. Helena my Freshman year of High School in 2010.
If you would like quality Mexican food then gives these 2 locations a shot. Anything off of their menus are bulls-eye hits.
My personal favorite is their "torta de millanesa" which is a sandwich that comes with a breaded fillet of either chicken or beef, queso fresco and refried beans.

I purchased some hot food to go,when I got home I noticed condiments and other food items were missing from the order I called, and told the petson answering the phone what had happened and all I got was a, come and get it, after he had said he had forgotten to give it to me, no apology, very rude. Needless to say I have not been back and not planning on going back any time soon, unless they practice excelent service.
Remember it is our money that keeps you in business and there many places in napa to choose from.

Just visited around 5pm on 11/4
Small shop, loud music. Made it hard to hear the cashier. The food was fast enough. No complaints on then speed. The prices are very fair. It cost $16.04 for a carnitas quesadilla AMD four carne asada tacos. Both were tasty but don't match up to the quality of the St. Helena location. The carnitas in the quesadilla, while plentiful, was not seasoned very much. Bummer. Will probably return as It is closer than the other location, I'll just remember to have some hot sauce handy to add some extra flavor.

Great Mexican food for reasonable prices. Take out only! The carne asada torte is my favorite. Very flavorful and normally I make two meals out of it. The carniceria is also a plus. Very friendly customer service and great prices on produce!
Update: I have moved my review up to 5 stars because of the consistently great service and food. The only way to improve Azteca would be if they had room for seating.

Best quesadilla I have ever had in my life.
I don't know what they do to these things that make them so freaking incredible, but whenever I'm in the area--and I live across the country from Napa--I have to have one.
I will pass up four-star restaurants to eat here. If there was one in Atlanta where I live, I would go there constantly and weigh 25 pounds more.
Yes, it's a hole-in-the-wall grocery store. Yes, it's inexpensive. Yes, it's incredibly unpretentious. In short, it's perfect, and has some of the best Mexican food you will ever eat.
Six stars.

Almost every time I order a Super Burrito it is missing the sour cream and guacamole. This place is no exception. It happened to me again. We ordered two shrimp super burritos, but the cashier only wrote down one on the ticket. I had to wait another ten minutes for the second burrito. We got home...my husband's burrito had sour cream and guacamole, but mine did not. I'm very tired of all of the taquerias "forgetting" these two important ingredients that are the reason for the price markup and the name, SUPER. The food is good, so that's why gave it three stars. I am really

Napa's Azteca Market, with its ancient Aztec sun calendar as its logo, has risen as a phoenix from the ashes. This strip mall managed to rise- literally- from two major earthquakes and one fire. As for the "you get what you pay for",they're cheaper than a lot of Mexican markets... and they're high quality, and the place is immaculate. It's larger than the Azteca Market in St. Helena, with a good selection.
They have an open kitchen, showing where the magic takes place, Like Water for Chocolate-

Will definitely be returning

Ok. It's a very small area for parking there is several business in the plaza. I ordered a deluxe burrito to go it was tasteless meat had not flavor and of grilled had no sign it was most like a teamed meat burrito. They have a pretty great selection of meats. And it looks pretty fresh. Veggies and fruits are not that fresh. So stop at another location first where you know they have fresh veggies and fruits. Very disappointed with the food.

We frequent this place for the delicious dinners and reasonable prices. The quesadillas with homemade guacamole or carne asada tacos are my favorites.
This store has a small bakery with tasty treats. They also have a meat counter with great cuts and chicharones.
Friendly staff, great food and fair prices. Give it a shot.
