Our child care center offers the Creative Curriculum, which is aligned with the state of Illinois' Early Learning Standards. We also offer the A-Beka Curriculum which helps to strengthen and enforce phonics and reading in young children. Bright Start ensures that each child is read too throughout the day at early ages and older children are taught to read high-frequency words.

Services
Bright Start Child Care & Preschool offers a Christian nurturing environment for all children. Each classroom, from infants to school-age children, has age-appropriate environments to encourage children to learn, play, and explore. Each classroom has trained teachers that are full of enthusiasm and encouragement so that the growth and development of our children are maximized.
Bright Start offers quality care for infants 6 weeks to children 13 years of age. Bright Start was established in 2003 in Homewood, Il. Each classroom, from infants to school-age children, has age-appropriate environments to encourage children to learn, play, and explore. Furthermore, we also strive to surpass the regulations mandated by DCFS.
What is SmartCare? SmartCare is a cloud-based, real-time technology that enables Parents, Center Directors and Teachers to be connected in real time through your own mobile devices and via web portal - throughout the day, anytime, from anywhere. By using SmartCare, parents can view and pay by Debit Card, Credit Car or by Checking Account on the Parent App, or via the Parent Web Portal.

My son has been attending Bright Start since October 2018 and it has made a great impact on him. He has totally came out of his shell. The staff is excellent and very professional. It really shows how much they love the children! My son comes home counting in Spanish and his vocabulary has exploded. I am amazed everyday but the things he says. He is learning so much at Bright Start and I highly recommend them .

I have to say - since my daughter started Bright Start back in November 2018, she has learned so much. she absolutely loves this daycare. The teachers here are so kind and they genuinely care for these children. I love how bright Start always involves parents in all activities. If you’re looking for a center to actually teach your child and prepare them for school, this is it!

All of the staff here are very kind and caring towards both parents and children. In addition, they have been very flexible and understanding with my specific situation and working with my child and I to assist us in allowing him to attend the center and structure a payment schedule that was more suitable for our family. If you’re looking for a warm, friendly, and communicative atmosphere to bring your children, this is definitely a great option!

Becoming a part of the bright start family is one of the best decisions we've made. All four of my children (ages 8weeks - 8years) attend. My children are thriving academically and otherwise. The love and kindness shown and taught is wonderful. They genuinely care about the total wellbeing of every child. The administrative team is approachable and always ready to listen. With my children at bright start, I have peace of mind. I highly recommend Bright Start child care and preschool.

The staff at Bright Start are kind, attentive, and professional. When I had to return to work I was very distraught to leave my son. The staff was amazing in my son's and my transition. On Monday morning when we walked in, the infant room teacher took him and started talking to him and immediately got him to smile. She have me a hug and told me to call any time, she even called me at work to tell me how wonderful my son has been. The facility is very clean and well furnished with age-appropriate toys including an indoor and outdoor play area. Also the tuition is very competitive for the area and

At first it seems like it’s a great daycare for children until you see the truth. The truth about this daycare is first of all the two owners of the day care live in another state, and have Judy the director there that has the worst people skills I have encountered when talking with her. She is sarcastic, not to mention no personality but besides that the teachers they choose to hire are unprofessional and flat out ghetto. The ones that aren’t ghetto are to darn old to be dealing with children especially five year olds. Also, they have no stability with staff it’s a very high turn over rate
