Explore, Grow, Build, Create.this is the mission of Buckhorn Camp, and the principles which we strive to derive everything Buckhorn related. From our schedule to our camp devotionals, you will see the threads of these four principles woven through the life of the camp.

Whether you're here for a summer camp or a weekend retreat, a day guest or a volunteer, we aim to help every person who enters our camp explore the beautiful outdoors, grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and create memories to carry with them for a lifetime. These four facets reflect an entire spectrum of personal growth and development and it is our hope that every person who spends time at Buckhorn leaves changed for the better.
Services
Buckhorn may boast a big operation, but we actually operate with a very small year-round crew! The Hubbard family lives on-site and hails from central Arkansas, where Austin previously worked as an auto mechanic turned youth director and jack-of-all-trades at First United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
If you love adventure, beautiful weather, exploring, helping others grow, challenging yourself, and immersing yourself in God's beautiful creation, then we would love you to consider a position on our Summer staff! Spending your summer in the mountains of Northern Colorado has possibility written all over it.
There are so many ways your financial gifts support Buckhorn Camp and its mission to help campers and guests Explore, Grow, Build, and Create! 2020 has been an incredibly difficult year financially for Buckhorn. Every donation made helps offset the operating costs of keeping Buckhorn running at the most essential level.
Our donors provide the means for us to offer a quality Christian camping experience at a safe facility that everyone can afford. Our volunteers are the backbone of our ministry. You can volunteer as a counselor for our youth camps, Camp Hope, for one of our ongoing building projects, or to just help around the camp.
Our theme this summer is "Overcome, " based on John 16:33. In a year where we have collectively overcome so much, we can't think of a more fitting tribute for our upcoming season! We will operate under state & county guidelines for capacity and are implementing CDC recommendations for overnight camps.

We held our 55-person wedding at Buckhorn Camp September 2017, and could not be more delighted with the outcome. A few highlights:
1) The food - Austin and the rest of the kitchen crew, you outdid yourselves! I had multiple people ask on Sunday morning if we could just have dinner leftovers for breakfast. It was seriously that good.
2) The views - You will not regret getting married at Green Cathedral. Even with a storm rolling in, I could not believe how beautiful the setting is. The benches are already set up, so the whole place is ready to go.
3) The fixed price for use of space, including
