Cognitive, emotive and behavioral psychotherapy is coupled with the judicious use of medication when helpful. Medications are chosen with full appreciation of side effects having the goal of reaching maximum benefit with the least risk of harm.
New Perspective Psychiatry was formed with the prospect of growing from a one practitioner practice to one of multiple providers who will work together in a collegial atmosphere to provide up-to-date psychiatric treatment in our community. A graduate of the Temple University's Katz School of Medicine, Dr. Hankin completed his psychiatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
