So I didn’t even book an event here due to the unprofessionalism of Gia. When I initial called about the kids birthday package it seemed like she was irritated after the third question. So I went and seen the event space I like it and called gia back to figure out what package I wanted. It seem like because I automatically didn’t want to get the highest package she didn’t want to answer any questions. The owner Gia is the NASTIEST person ever! Doesn't respect African -Americans, staff was rude! Water stains in the celling. Poor quality equipment. Chairs were dirty. Her staff is afraid of her. Doesn't want you to decorate her ugly plain hall that used to be a truck stop. Had me send my money via (cash app) to the wrong person 2x, called her for 2 days straight and never called to verify that money was received. Placed wrong linen on tables, cheated me out of 12 chairs. Made me pay for Ice. I found out from her previous staff that she gets them to write reviews on here. Very unprofessional. DONT

1. They moved locations and didn't communicate with me verbally or on my proposal.
2. When I arrived to pick up my merchandise it wasn't ready.
3. The Owner is slow at responding and unprofessional.
4. One of the two tables I rented was broken and it took a week to get a refund when it could have only taken a day.
The only nice this about this company was her assistant she was patient and professional but I forgot how to spell her (African American young lady) name. It definitely wasn't Jenny.
I wouldn't use them again unless I had no choice if that.

Essex...the owner and bartender, were unbelievably rude, it puzzled me that people like this ran a business, any questions asked, seem to be a bother to them, attitude was very nasty, from the owner, Gia .i would never use or recommend this place for an event...

This is going to be longwinded, but the fiasco needed to be fully detailed. As we prepared for our wedding, we were excited to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony where we would share one of the biggest moments of our lives with our closest family and friends. Unfortunately, the incredibly late rental delivery by Baltimore’s Best severely impacted the start of our big day.
Our wedding was held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore Maryland. The vendor setup time was scheduled for Noon. Our ceremony start time was set for 2pm. Plenty of time for setup, right?

I reached out to this company to rent linens for an event. Immediately, I was met with a negative disposition by Gia. She appeared to be too busy to answer my inquiries and was very dismissive, placing me on hold. Despite that, I continued with email correspondence. Even via email, she was short and dismissive without being much informing of the rental process. There was incorrect information on the emailed invoice, so I replied informing her of an update in errors and received no response. Hello , I will never rent anything from this company ever. The owner rented me table cloths and didn't have the linens onsite so I had to come back later that day. (She's moving to another location according to her daughter)The linens were the incorrect size and fabric. She went back and forth with me about the size when I came back in the next day. I didn't get the polyester linens I rented and payed for. She gave me what she wanted and basically said make it work. I am a decorator myself so I took the table cloths because my event was that day and I really needed the color to fulfill my customers

Baltimore's Best Event Center, Confetti's and Loft is owned by Gia Magliano. She will lure you in to come see the space, take your money and refuse to give you any services that you are requesting. Once she have your money, she will manipulate your event in what she think is what you want. She will not give you a refund, or honor you with… another date. She has not used any COVID restrictions, she do not wash her linen or sanitize any of the tables and chairs or props that was used before or after an event. My daughter is still too upset to address this, long, long after her event.. Let's just say that it was the least professional entertainment company we have ever encountered - late, shabby work on decorations and balloons, delivery personnel who had no idea what was delivered and unable to handle replacing chairs delivered dirty or broken, and an… owner who wanted to charge extra for doing the job they were supposed to do in the first place! I was the event coordinator for a wedding this past January. The owner Gia is very rude and can be unprofessional. Every item comes with a huge price mark up from napkins to dishes. The menu is al a carte and not worth the money paying for the event. We made this event space work but I advised my client along with any of their friends to never book at this venue. The staff is very nice and courteous but the owner is Gia is very rude.

Baltimore’s Best provided great customer service and assistance with our wedding arch rental. They were patient & helpful with all questions we had. They delivered and set up the arch perfectly, no problems or concerns at all! I recommend using their services for any wedding arch rentals you may have!

This is one of the worst venues that I've ever had an experience with for an event. The client was only given a 30 minute setup time. The room was thrown together. Storage areas are all over the venue with curtains covering them. Some of the staff was rude. One staff member in particular kept walking through the party reminding everyone that the party was ending at a certain time as if everyone didn't know. The venue is not WORTH the money.

I was hoping for a much better time here because I've heard good things but after the wedding I was just in, I would never recommend confetti's to anyone for any service. Sigh. To start, the caterer and event coordinator for this wedding stopped working there TWO DAYS before the wedding. So I'm not even from Maryland but had to write a review! Poor customer service!! My cousin's recently got married and had their wedding at this venue. The owner and staff were extremely unprofessional. On the day of the wedding they would not allow us to come inside the venue and kept stalling because they had nothing setup. The tables had no linens and the chair were not arranged for the ceremony.

So we had a very nice time here yesterday afternoon. I planned this party about a month ago, yet the previous president of my physician family group has been planning this same party annually for at least 5 years. We host an inflatable bounce house party for 20-30 kids for two hours on a Sunday afternoon. It was held indoors and cost us $500 plus a credit card processing fee. That's probably a little steep, but we did get two bounce houses for that price, plus tables and chairs for adults and kids and long tables for food all set up by the time we arrived.
