We recently were given two canvases dating back to circa 1940 that came from Germany. My husband and I tried to research the artist but had no luck finding the info we needed. We reached out to Gateway Auction to see if they could possibly help us. Photos were taken of the paintings and emailed to one of their appraisers, Heather. Within 24 hrs, she emailed us the info we were looking for! I would recommend their expertise to all.

I am an online bidder and won some expensive items. I received only half of what I paid for. I called this company and was told that they would look around and call me back the next day. After a week of not hearing from them I called them a second time. I was told the items could be picked up readily anywhere for $1. These items are from Germany, vintage and no longer made. I would suggest that all online bidders that require shipping "BEWARE"!!!!!
