Services
For over a hundred years, hunters from all over the eastern United States and Canada have found their way to the Jackman/Moose River Valley region for Fall Whitetail Deer hunting. Thanks to the generosity of the paper companies, you may hunt just about anywhere. Hunter congestion is almost non-existent.
This is the year to take the famous "Bow" trip on the Moose River - a unique canoe/camping experience for anyone that enjoys fishing and camping in the great outdoors. None of the fast water areas of this trip are rated above Class II. The Bow trip is a scenic 35-mile voyage through some of the best-unspoiled areas in Maine.
The Jackman region is well known for having snow both before and long after other areas of Maine. Our guests can enjoy professionally groomed trails right from their cabin door. Hundreds of miles of well-marked trails through magnificent wilderness and across super thick frozen lakes open up a whole new world.

I’ve stayed at Sally Mt. Cabins 3 times over the last 11 years, and every time the accommodations, hospitality, and prices have been great. The owners are really friendly and very genuine people. The site is extremely convenient to get to, plenty of parking, close to town, yet right on the lake, and the cabins are clean and comfortable. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I look forward to staying there again, hopefully really soon.

The cabins themselves were nice. Clean, great decore, and amazing view. Where the place looses a star is their kitchen. Missing essential kitchen utensils, mismatch sets, and limited number of utensils for cabin sizes. If you need to do any online work, the wifi sitting right near the office is decent, but elsewhere is spotty. Overall a great place to stay!
