Musgrove Family Mortuary
From beginning to end our experience with Musgrove was exceptional. Everything was taken care of or we were instructed how and who to contact to complete the task. Friendly, respectful, kind and caring. Thank you for taking care of us and our Dad. We are passionate about caring for our community and our planet.

For each cremation we perform, we have purchased carbon offsets to help us minimize our carbon footprint and make the world a cleaner, more beautiful place. Our purchase directly supports projects that destroy greenhouse gases, produce renewable energy, and restore freshwater ecosystems. Pre-planning your funeral arrangements takes the burden and stress off your loved ones.

Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene, Oregon, has handled the arrangements for my father, my mother, and now my brother. Because our family has a tradition of simple cremation followed by ocean scattering at a favorite beach, we have never bought urns or caskets. Musgrove has never tried to up-sell us, never recommended anything we did not ask for, and never pressured us in any way. Most important, their people have always treated our loved ones and ourselves with the utmost respect, compassion, and courtesy. Way back in the day, John Denver sang, "Take me when I'm gone to Forest Lawn", but I choose

As Bill had previously stated his last wishes it was a easy process when I came into the office. Everything was explained again and any questions I had were explained. He had chosen not to have a service but I felt it would be a tribute to him and his military service to have a celebration of life. Jenny was able to secure a Marine Honor Guard. What an honor on his behalf. Thank you.

The folks at Musgrove family mortuary have done a great job at helping me deal with the passing of my wife and making arrangements. They are a great group of people who helped ease the burden and the pain of losing my soulmate of 30 years so unexpectedly. I had no idea what to do or who to contact about her passing but they provided me with all the information I needed and sent out weekly care guides that helped me cover all the legal bases. While only time can ease the absolute pain of losing a loved one I felt that they genuinely cared and reached out regularly to help me deal with it all!

I was completely satisfied with the service from Musgrove. Getting the death certificate signed was the only thing that was frustrating. It has been almost a month now since my husband passed and to date I have no death certificate.

I have used Musgrove funeral services twice in a year's time and they bent over backwards to customize the memorial celebrations to exactly what I wanted. Very professional and caring staff.

All my family members are buried at both locations. I lost my mom back in April 2017 and although the arrangements and service was nice. I have to say the location where they placed my mom is horrible. She is located in the Veterans section. For the price we paid for a double plot due to my Veteran father still being alive you think they would take better care of. These are Veterans!!!

Besides the lack of grounds keeping, she is next to the loud freeway. There is no gate surrounding that area so things get stolen all the time. We had to plant grass seeds three times and this area hardly ever gets

Musgrove's took care of both my mom & dad's funerals and
many of our church friends from the Eugene Friends Church.
They even took care of the graveside service for both which
was in Newberg, Oregon...Kudo's to their sympathetic demur
and constantly checking w/us to make sure everything was
according to our wishes. Easy company to deal with at a
time when we were stressed out. Keep up the great service!

We put my grandmother to rest here and we're extremely content with all aspects of the services here. It it is now time to lay my mother down to rest. In these difficult times our family wanted one last goodbye with out mother and we were told that it would be a little over $400 to say our goodbyes and to transport her out of the refrigeration area and into a room for us to view her and say our final goodbyes. Let's face it, we're all here to make a living, no matter what our profession is, but, in difficult times like this, charging someone an astronomical amount of money to say

While the staff was professional and kind to us during this process, my family was shocked at the cost associated with doing a simple burial and graveside service here. Had we done our due-diligence ahead of time, we would have learn the $9,980 price we paid for a very simple service and inexpensive casket would have cost half that price at two different non Musgrove Family Mortuary associated mortuaries in the Eugene/Springfield area. My advice to all grieving families having to pick a mortuary for completing the after-life business of a loved one, is to price services ahead of time... even if

Musgrove mortuary has helped us cremate our son and our cat. Both losses were difficult and hard to navigate through. They were understanding and so delicate with me and my husband while we dealt with the loss of our son. They blessed us and shined a light on us in a very dark time. Highly recommended!!

One year ago today, this amazing place, Musgrove's, help guide me through the planning of my husband's memorial service. From the moment they'd realized that I'd entrusted them to care for Dave, to the months following, I couldn't have felt a greater level of care and compassion. Never did I feel alone or at a loss for what to do. They cared for our 300+ guest as if it were two. They professionally guided me thought the legal paperwork and the-what-to-do next phase. To the team of employees and family, I thank you for your caring and professional manner. 5 STARS ISN

If I give could Musgroves higher than a 5 star rating I would. When my grandparents and aunt have died over the years my parents were the ones responsible for handling the arrangements and received comfort and support throughout each process. When my aunt passed away last October and was driven to Klamath Falls for her service, the employee visited with my family afterwards and didn't leave until he felt like my family was satisfied with both his services and our own personal emotions. I would never hesitate to recommend Musgroves for help after the death of a loved one.

This business is just that, they only care about how much money make. They have little compassion for the grieving family members. Again they only are interested just much money can get out of the family. When my Grandmother died I was unable to she before they took possession of her body and I asked see her briefly they told me I would have to pay $327 just see her. I will never have anything to do with this crooked business and recommend strongly you look elsewhere

Musgrove's staff were exceptional. They took the time to answer all our questions and throughly explained the cremation process. They were patient, compassionate and understanding at all times. Their grounds and facilities are beautiful and peaceful surroundings to help with the grieving process. The cost of the services provided were very reasonable.

We highly recommend Musgrove Family Mortuary.

Even though my Mother was 91 and we knew the end was near you think your prepared for that day when it comes . October 6th 2014 was that day . I already had pre arrangements done for our mother while we were all feeling the emptiness in our hearts our connection with Musgrove was awesome . Our funeral director lets call him Joe.. was always there to answer all questions and also give advise which made all of us very confident that we will be doing it right for our mother. Joe called me many times if he also was not clear on a request we had . the call was to make sure it was done right . Very polite

I had a very bad experience with Musgrove. they lied to me and would not return my calls. there thieves that is for sure. I asked for a cremation and they said they could beat the price I was given by someone else so I went there it ended up being $1300 more and they said or Bob Walker said they all cost that much total came to $2105.00 just for a cremation and put in a cardboard box for me to pick up I said I thought it was going to be cheaper he said with all the other expenses and things they do not mention these other company's. then when I found out the real cost no one there would return
