Ralph Taylor Lumber provides both domestic and worldwide lumber and log sales. We are buyers of lumber, logs, timber and land to best meet our clients needs. Our full staff of company loggers, timber consultants and contract loggers have many years of experience with sustainable forestry and land management. We have sales offices in Memphis, TN, Southern, MS and Idaho and mills in Clarendon, AR.

In 1968, Ralph Taylor founded the Hardwood company, Ralph Taylor Lumber, in Memphis, TN, the Hardwood capital of the world. Starting out as a broker, Ralph grew the company, invited family into the business and watched the company expand its services and products.

Through the dedication and hard work of family, owners and employees, RTL has become a fully integrated state of the art Hardwood lumber co. with locations in Southern MS and Idaho and two saw mills in Clarendon, AR.Under the operation of 2nd and 3rd generation knowledgeable lumbermen, RTL maintains their reputation through out the industry world-wide: providing excellent sales and hardwood lumber.
Ralph Taylor Lumber owns two state of the art sawmills located in Clarendon, AR. They operate under the name of Taylor and Sons (T&S) Sawmill, CO. Not only does this provide the largest employee count in Monroe county, AR, but the business is also contributing to the community through philanthropy.
Ralph Taylor Lumber provides a wide variety of hardwood species including: Red Oak, White Oak, Cottonwood, Ash, Hickory, Sap Gum, Red Gum, Sycamore and Hackberry. Our hardwood is used to provide: rail road ties, industrial timbers, board road and crane mats. RTL supplies to the largest hardwood consumers in the world.
Ralph Taylor Lumber not only values but operates under the guidelines of sustainable forestry practices. This includes responsibility in the maintenance of our forest land in consideration of land management for wildlife and recreation. Our company cooperates with state and national forestry departments and National wildlife refuge systems in the harvesting of trees.
