I bought my mom and several of my friends cars from chris at the birmingham auto auction. The business has a shop to look over the cars for a fee before you purchase which i would recommend personally because its an auction anyone thats been to any auction knows not all cars that go to an auction are bad but all bad cars go to an auction. be smart and do your part before expecting a business to know everything about a car thats being sold by another seller. as far as selection they keep that place full usually if they dont have anything you like come back later; had to do that with several people

I have to tell you how good of an experience I had at Birmingham Auto Auction! The people the employees all were excellent nice and knowledgeable in all that I asked them about, they actually went beyond A1 service for my family and me! They had a huge wide range of vehicles for whatever you desire. I urge you to go try this experience out for yourself I promise you will not be sorry!

Experience not even worthy of one star but here goes. If you are in need of a car do not even waste the time of a phone call to BAA.. Every bad review could not be more accurate and the good ones make me question any car knowledge of those writing them. I went to look at a vehicle in their top end price point, which you would think would be at least clean. Nope, it was nasty with too many issues to list (none mentioned previously with broken things everywhere). The car had obviously been wrecked as well, supposedly a clean title but nothing mentioned about the shotty rework it's had before driving

They had plenty of cars to choose from. Half of them wouldn't start like the batteries were dead. The main thing I didn't like is basically the price you see on the cars is the price you pay plus tax, title, fees and their seller fees. If you want to even try and offer a cheaper price then they have to call the actual owner to discuss, I did not like that. One vehicle that was priced at $6200, after all the fees and stuff was added it was going to be just over $8200 to walk out the door with that car. I have never seen anything like that before in my life. So needless to say we left.

Avoid the cheap cars on the lot. We drove them, and not a single one usually stayed cranked long enough to make it back to the parking spot we pulled it out of. It's obvious that they clear the check engine lights. The one that did stay cranked and actually rode decent wouldn't let me put the shifter back into park after driving it a few feet. Had to leave it in neutral and put the parking brake on, then couldn't open the door from the inside. Don't be fooled by the prices online either. That's before they apply the fees, which usually tack on an extra grand and a half or more. The only positive
