Computer Revolutions was founded in April of 2004 by Travis Larson and Dave Montag when they realized that there was a need for quality computer services within the Quad City area. Countless nights spent at Travis's apartment setting up their first website turned into having the opportunity to open their first storefront in downtown Moline, Illinois.
Computer Revolutions has provided IT services for Residential clients since 2004. The Computer Revolutions team still believes that every computer user needs and deserves to have access to professional IT experts to help them keep their technology running efficiently. Took my new computer build to them due to computer crashes when running games. They found that there was an issue with newer versions of Windows 10 Pro causing issues with my GPU, and troubleshooted the issue with installing an older version of Windows which ended up fixing the problem. I would recommend them to everyone who has computer issues.

No more than a month ago I brought my cpu in to get fixed, they tell me new windows would fix the issue. I pay $100 for new windows. About two weeks after the cpu blue screens again. Ended up getting a new computer called to see if I could have them put my hard drive and the windows I just paid for a month ago on new hard drive and install the old one for back up. I was hoping it would be either free or at a discount since I did what they recommended for my old pc. I was wrong wanted to charge me full price again even though I bought this a month ago. Great customer service. Super fast and very knowledgeable staff. Took them a week but over 90% of it was waiting on the parts to come in. Took them 2 days to put it all together and get it back to me. Always pleasant to answer any questions I may have had or can have in the future. Would definitely recommend anyone that wants great service and great work done for cheap they are the best.

I’ve taken my computer in twice now to be fixed and I’m still having problems. The first time, I was understanding. They thought they fixed it, returned it to me, and took it back when k told them the problem persisted. When they took it back, they told me it would be free if it were a software issue or is only have to pay for the part if it was a… hardware issue. They called to tell me the CPU was loose and that was the issue. I asked if they could clean it up a bit inside since it’s been sitting for 3 years (I didn’t care if I had to pay for it or if it was free

My grandfather had his computer infected as a result of a scam. They were more than helpful in removing all the items installed and getting them back up and running. The Geek Squad at Best Buy told me they could fix my computer - but I would lose everything , including treasured photos of my deceased Father. I came to Computer Revolutions and they fixed my computer and saved everything on there. When I had problems connecting to the internet at home, Dave came out and git it all fixed for me. So glad my son in law recommended them to me, I will never go anywhere else.

I thought I would have to redo 6 months of bookeeping for two businesses when I could no longer open Quickbooks on my laptop. Ben took a few minutes and had me up and running! I stopped in to this shop at the recommendation of Batteries Plus looking for help ( it was kind of an emergency to get a Doctor's lap top with case information needed) charged as the cord stopped charging. The two gentlemen who helped me dropped what they were doing, they were extremely efficient, kind and helpful. They resolved my issue in less than five minutes. I had ran to Best Buy in Davenport prior, they gave me the wrong cord (for $75) and were not interested in the issue at all. Computer Revolutions has repaired my Toshiba multiple times. When my dad's Toshiba crashed two summers ago, they were able to retrieve all of the data on the hard drive (including pictures from lost memory cards!), and they were able to put it on the new ThinkPad they sold him. Moreover, they are courteous, they are helpful, they are thorough, and they are swift with making repairs.

Originally we had Computer Revolutions set up our new laptops when we got them and were completely satisfied. We have called them with questions and they have always helped find the answer. This week I took my computer in for an issue and they checked it over and found it was working fine and were just so very helpful.
