Services
Danielle received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in business from Emmanuel college. She went on to graduate with a master's degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College and has been working in the field in various capacities. Danielle has 13 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and couples.
Athena Kobin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and registered Art Therapist currently employed at a Federally Qualified Health Center as an outpatient clinician since 2015. She graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and received her Master's Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Albertus Magnus College in 2014.
Angela Gallo received her master's degree in Social Work from New York University, in addition to her undergraduate degree in Art Therapy. Throughout her academic and professional career, Angela has worked in various settings with various populations.
Angela began her journey as a clinician working with families and communities throughout Rhode Island, and dedicated her work to children, adolescents, and families faced with significant adversities and trauma.Angela believes in an integrated, but mostly skill-focused clinical intervention style and incorporates positive psychology techniques to help people of all ages become empowered and autonomous.

There are many reasons that people seek therapy. At certain points in one's life anxiety, depression, uncertainty, and anger may present as major concerns. I could not recommend lighthouse counseling enough!!!! At LC, the therapists care, they are genuine and honest. I have never felt so safe, heard and supported in my life. My mental health has completely transformed for the better and I am so thankful and honored to have had services from LC. Danielle and Athena (and all staff) are the absolute best!!
