A Saigon Cafe
It took time and effort, but a key ingredient to it's success is to use only fresh ingredients and to peel their own fresh garlic. Success didn't happen immediately, but the reputation for quality in the menu and service spread by word of mouth. With 30+ years of experience cooking in the finest restaurants, our chef is excited to present their vision to you and all our guests.

Our caring and committed staff will ensure you have a fantastic experience with us. Our restaurant is available for private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event. Our restaurant is a Blue Zones Approved Restaurant that offers selected inspired dishes that will leave you energized and feeling good!
Services
Our popular black bean sauce is made with or without ground pork, bell peppers, Maui onions, and jalapeno, and black beans. Scallop and snow peas served on a sizzling platter with shiitake mushrooms, carrots and Maui onions. Whole Opakapaka or Mahi-mahi (when available). Garnished with fresh shredded ginger, onion, garlic and green onion, surrounded with steamed broccoli, carrots and mushrooms.

The owner is hilarious and the food is simple and filling! Loved it here and would come again! I ordered the clay pot. It has rice, veggies (peas, carrots, mushrooms, green beans) chicken and shrimp. Bartender is great and heavy handed Long Island iced tea was strong!

This is the first Asian restaurant I’ve been to that does protein right. We’ve all been there - the vegetables and noodles/rice are perfect but the cuts of meat are off. The shrimp is rubbery, the pork has gristle, and the beef has… is that tendon? Not at A Saigon Cafe. They treat protein right. The chicken is prepped for flavor by using dark meat and not just boring old white breast. The pork belly is melt-in-your mouth tender and never chewy. The fish is always tender and flaky. The beef always makes you savor every bite. Hats off to the kitchen staff who always go the extra mile to prep

Loved it. Went with trepidation that they'd have a vegan option. And the wonderful owner who served us, said You like noodles? I'll make a veggie dish with noodles for you. He was friendly, funny, entertaining and accommodating. Food was delicious and we'll be back.
If you're looking for good Pho in the area, it's worth dropping by. You won't be disappointed!

Homey Vietnamese food with a huge menu. Quick service and good food in the old Wailuku town. Parking could be a bit tight. Been around for 25 years!

Mediocre pho. I’ve tried pho from all over the world and I could say that this was my least favorite. Giving it a 3 star cause of the nice server we had. Maybe Pho is just not the right choice here in Maui. The broth was meh and the meat was meh too. Maybe try something else here instead. The price was around $17, which probably makes it one of the most expensive Phos I’ve eaten. Definitely not worth the money.

Enjoyed our visit. Crispy noodle was good but got soggy fast. Pho was okay, but broth was too
bland to be a great soup. The spring rolls were a HIT though. Redeemed the visit. Very very good. The buddha rolls were good too.

I loved this place. The service was exceptional. Each employee had such a great personality and were so cute with our young kids.
The food was incredible!!! We got the chicken and shrimp clay bowl, chicken yellow curry and these things known as a Vietnamese burrito. You have to make the “burritos” yourself which was added to the experience.
Definitely coming back!

First time here before our flight home. Great food and less than 5 miles from the airport. Loved the clay pot rice with chicken, shrimp and veggies, and the papaya salad! Reasonable price. Will definitely be back!

The food was FABULOUS! I've never had Vietnamese food before. The broth based fondue was very tasty. The server had to show us how to assemble it which made for lunch AND a show.
The other server was a bit pushy which is why I didn't give them five stars. The food alone was 5 stars. The overall service was closer to a 3.
