I brought a pair of dress pants to be hemmed and tappered in at the upper legs and hips. Had to leave then for a do over tapper was not done correctly. Upon returning taper still not done correctly and pants fit worse then when originally brought in.
I ended up buying another pair and going to a local taylor who did the job correctly and to my satisfaction

Islip Cleaners is literally THE BEST dry cleaning service I've ever experienced in my life! I messaged at 5am due to a tailor crisis! My custom suit from Nigeria did not fit! The arms of the suit were soo tight! And I did not have a backup outfit! Islip Cleaners messaged me back before 7:30am and told me to come by ASAP!

I love this business. I drive past 2 dry cleaners to come to Islip Cleaners! I can't say enough about their exceptional service and professionalism. They are always willing to address any concerns and make everything right. They were recommended to me by another dry cleaner that is not affiliated but could not provide me with an "emergency" alteration in the timeframe that I needed and I've never turned back! I have used them for all of our dry cleaning and for all alterations. I wouldn't trust anyone else. I've also referred friends to them who are also happy customers

Great service! excellent and accurate communication. I came in today to get my faja altered upon entering even though there was a few people waiting I was atended to immediately. They were very friendly and asked what I wanted, they gave me exactly that. 2in taken off my waist! Perfect compression now. The price was great even with the 20% same day fee….also it was available to pick up 1hr earlier than quoted. I’ll be back and recommend any family and friends here. Thanks Islip Cleaners 🙃

I have used Islip Cleaners for all of my alterations for the past 5 years for bridesmaids dresses, evening dresses and even my wedding gown. Love this place !! They do an amazing job to say the least. The seamstress there can work wonders!! They were able to salvage a pair of Tom Ford shoes that were destroyed at an event from the recent rainy weather. Life savers when it comes to last minute alterations for any of my gowns. I'd hand downs recommend them!!

Tracked this place down to preserve my wedding dress and it was so professional, so worth it. I had a huge grass stain and they took care of it! It also is preserved beautifully in a box and bag. They give you gloves to wear if you ever have to touch it. I preserved my dress and veil and I'm so happy! I also had my husbands suit cleaned as the same time, and it was all ready before the estimated due date! A+

They are the best!! I found out the zipper on my coat was broke the day before I went on vacation to Canada. Really thought I would have to run out and buy a new coat. They replaced the whole zipper in time for me to be able to take the coat with me and did an amazing job none the less! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I first came into this place because it had great reviews here on Yelp. I had practically destroyed my white engagement party gown that I borrowed from a close friend of mine. I truly believed this gown could never be restored. Not only was the price very reasonable, it came back in perfect condition. I was extremely impressed by the work they did and the service. I brought my mothers 60 year old wedding veil to be restored for my sisters wedding in February...it really was in bad shape..it was the color of tea and really disintegrated..Danny made no promises but said he would try his best..I gave him pictures of my mother's wedding pictures and hoped for the best..I picked up the veil today and I was in tears ..it was way beyond anything I had hoped for and my sister couldn't have been more pleased thanks so much Danny!
