Lowe's
Lowe's Supermarkets is a Littlefield, Texas-based company that has been serving families since 1964. Since that first store in Olton Texas, our operating philosophy has been to take care of the community, our Teammates, and their families. This approach along with the hard work of our dedicated Teammates has helped us to grow to over 140 neighborhood stores throughout Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Kansas.

From Albuquerque to Zapata, our stores have some of the most caring and wonderful people in the grocery business who are committed to meeting the needs of our customers. We currently operate under the banners of Lowe's, Lowe's Market, Lowe's Mercado, Lowe's Big 8, and we have a couple of Ace Hardware stores as well.
Services
At Lowe's, we strive to give our Teammates the opportunity to grow personally, have a good means for providing for themselves and their families, as well as, provide a rewarding career path. Our real success is attributed to our hard-working Teammates.

If you are interested in being part of a growing company where you can make a difference, please fill out an application and either turn it in to your local Store Manager, fax it to (877) 334-0725 or email it to the email address listed at the top of the employment application.
Lowe's Market recently announced that it is committed to buying only cage-free eggs by the end of 2025 based on the availability of supply within its market. The Littlefield Texas based, family owned supermarket chain, decided to join a growing group of food retailers, food manufacturers, and restaurant chains that have announced similar plans.
In our meat department you'll find quality, freshness, and great savings! Our ground beef is ground fresh everyday. Look for our selection of quality hand trimmed cuts, and remember that we can cut to order and fill just about any special order for cuts that we do not regularly carry. If quality, selection and great prices are what you are looking for, you'll find them in our produce department.

Brand New Store y'all. Not only is it the local grocery store, you can also get your hunting gear, plumbing stuff, tools, and I think just about anything else you need right here.

We stopped by for some fruit and snacks and discovered what a clean store it is and how friendly the staff is. Several employees said "hi" or checked on us during our visit.
The store is well-stocked and has everything you need from a grocery store. They even have an ACE hardware store inside.

I bought 1 lb. Swiss cheese for for$2.99. Swiss cheese is twice that price at HEB. Sirloin steak is $5.99 lb. Sirloin at HEB is over $10.00 lb. The store is small but does have some pleasant surprises.

I bought a package of Ozark Hearth brown n serve rolls today. When I got home and opened the package all the rolls were moldy on the bottom. I checked the package and there was no sell by date or expiration date, but Lowe's should do a better job of making sure their products are not moldy or rotten. Very disappointed and would think twice of going back to purchase any sort of bread products or packages where you can't view the entire product. Disgusting moldy bread!

I get it that it's a small store for a small town. The aisles are so narrow that you can barely get 2 narrow carts past one another. The prices are sometimes double what they are at places like H-E-B or Walmart. Their fruit and vegetables aren't worth carrying to the front door. One time I picked up some black grapes and noticed they were moldy. The produce guy was standing there so I took them to him, pointed out the mold, and he said, "thanks." Then I watched him, he picked off the moldy grapes and put the rest back! Some may want to say that they save time/money by

Lowe's Lowe's, everywhere you go!
This place isn't huge. They've got lots of stuff for hanging out by the river or whatnot. Things like giant cases of beer and jerkey seem to be the norm here. Don't go here hoping for stuff for people with food allergies, as another Yelper said. This place has the basics, and cheap prices. It's good for a neighborhood store, or if you're just blasting through going to the river, it's a great place to stop! I got all kinds of stocked up on all my grocery needs here. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and got me checked

This is a completely basic grocery store with limited choices in most categories. Most brands are not organic, gluten-free or dairy-free. They didn't have one tomato soup brand that is gluten-free. If you are traveling to the area, pack your specialty foods because this store won't help. The staff was pleasant. The store is a challenge for people who care about their ingredients or have food restrictions.

Definitely your neighborhood independent chain grocery store. Not super exciting, but the music they play is consistently nice. The cashiers are all friendly, but they don't have nearly the selection of HEB in Kerrville or SA.
