Things seemed up to par until we got it home! 1st day on the water sat broke down for 45 min until help could come. Hinged they fixed are breaking. New radio they installed not working. Just bought it from them. Very disappointed. I'll give a better review later if appropriate. Hope my friends have better luck. Sorry old salt I had high hopes for you.

We own a small charter fleet in the FL Keys and have had the most pleasurable experience with Old Salt Marine. Not only did we get one pair of brand new Suzuki 225's but a second pair of Suzki 300's within months of each other! In the current world we live in, this is huge. They have kept us up and running, doing what we love. I cannot say enough good things about Donald, Skip, Rachel and their mechanic. We will continue to look to them for our future needs as a charter business.

Stay VERY far away from Don at Old salt marine. He is your best friend until he makes the sale.Then when your NEW boat starts having one problem after another because of all the corners he cut he will delay work.cut even more corners and smile while he is screwing you.We had to be towed in several times and once barely made it in and that is a new boat imagine a used one.He will not accept any responsibility for the problems even when several boat mechanics stated that they would not have sold a boat that was not safe like this. I bought a new pair of 2021 200s.
These guys did a great Job.
Don and Jim our installer did a great job on the refit.
Jim rewired, replumbed, set our electronics up, installed motors.
They also advised me on some of the work that had been done on the boat, things working but not picked up on as being questionable.
We agreed to a price and they delivered more than was expected.
Glad to know both don and Jim for our future boat needs.
I'm getting ready to do a smaller boat for inshore and will not hesitate to bring it to them for a total refit..

Don: I am not surprised at your response. It is inaccurate, not apologetic, unprofessional, emotional and just what I expected from you. Your customers can see how you treat people.
The test drive was not as dramatic as you described it and I didn't have the attitude that you mentioned. In fact, I apologized for our mistake. Your statements on the facts of the test drive are complete lies! You didn't make a big deal at the time or at lunch after and I remember you saying that the boat we test drove, was one of your relatives boats.
In addition, I paid you $81,850.66 for the boat. I

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! They will be your best friend. Untill they get your money and then it all starts . Over promising and under delivery always . Then if you make the mistake of calling and asking about your property that you intruded them with they will say that they did not make any of the promises. Horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor drive a extra 100 miles it doesn't matter you will save yourself the headache .

Old salt marine is the biggest joke in town. Donald is a smooth salesman. He will tell you whatever you need to hear to make a sale. As soon as he has you hooked he leaves you on the line to die. We had twin 300 Suzuki's installed and all new electronics almost 70k. They installed the wrong size shaft motors after I told them what size the boat needed. They made us pay for the extensions which was there mistake. They installed all the new electronics did a awesome job from the looks of it except nothing works right. They refused to even look at it. I have to say being a first time buyer Donald rolled out the red carpet for me and my wife. We communicated on a weekly basis he and his staff kept us up to date on the progression of our boat and they made sure that we left the lot with the boat that we wanted. So much to say for Old Salt Marine, they will definitely be getting more business from me in the future!

We decided to get our first boat and went to a place in Winter Haven. Well I put in for financing on a 2007 boat online and got approved but went to see it and whoaaaaa that was not the boat I saw online...Maybe it was photo shopped? Do I look like I would survive on Gilligan's Island? I asked about other boats and while waiting for a call from them went to Old Salt Marine, and met James. I don't usually take time to make reviews. However after reading the reviews and having had a new 2020 Suzuki 250 installed recently by old salt I had to chime in.
Over the past 15 years Donald it old salt has always been there for my families boating needs even thought they would not have known that because we weren't there like every month or anything. But being raised here it's one of the few places that has seemed to lasted through the years.
