Services
Tele-health or Tele-rehabilitation offers one on one physical or occupational therapy through an internet enabled device with a camera. These visits are live video sessions to diagnose the exact cause of pain and lost function in joints and muscles. We also help with pediatric developmental delays and progressive learning instances.
Your initial appointment can last up to an hour depending upon the complexity of your problem. It's good to wear loose comfortable clothes in order to allow the therapist to get a good idea of your mobility. We provide conventional therapeutic and advanced sports rehab techniques. We also utilize osteopathic-based manual treatment to provide the best care.
At UVR, we practice a variety of manual and osteopathic therapy techniques enabling your body to heal itself and restore normal balance. We evaluate the body's response to an injury or postural adaptation and how it may impede healing and return to function and treat accordingly. These treatment approaches have been influenced by the teachings of Dr. AT Still, Dr. Philip Greenman, Dr. Lawrence Jones; among others.
UVR offers aquatic therapy in the Woodstock Athletic Clubs heated non-chlorinated pool. Offering this treatment approach allows for successful incorporation of gradual body weight activites. Those suffering from arthritis, muscle weakness, chronic pain, neurological diagnosis, and others, could all benefit from aquatic therapy.
Temporomandibular joint "TMJ" disorders and facial pain are a result of an imbalance of the jaw and skull with the muscles that move the jaw and other nervous system components. TMJ disorders may have a gradual onset with no apparent cause or may be a result of a physical insult. A thorough medical history and physical evaluation by our physical therapy staff will be performed in order to determine the source of your pain.

After two recent stays in the hospital, I needed rehab to regain my strength and balance. Upper Valley Rehab was recommended and I was not disappointed. The staff actually listened to me and worked with me to help correct my problems. I still have a long road ahead but I'm already feeling much stronger. I highly recommend this rehab facility to anyone in the area.
