For half a century, Rollway Resort enabled guests to enjoy the mighty Au Sable. We still have Northern Michigan vacation rentals for enjoying the water. You can rent a pontoon or row boat from Rollway to enjoy the river for a day or the entire week. We deliver your craft to your waterside location and pick it up at the end of your rental period.
If you're staying on an area lake, we offer pontoon rental to you too. The AuSable River flows easterly through the Huron National Forest, emptying into Lake Huron. Rollway Resort sits between Alcona Dam and Loud Dam about 30 minutes west of Oscoda where the river merges with the big lake. The forest and riverside remains totally unspoiled through this section.

I cannot recommend this place enough for rentals or lodging. First, we had a double kayak delivered to a cabin within Rifle Rec. That was beyond amazing. Then we headed to the actual resort and stayed in one of the cabins. So lovely for a family or large groups. One cabin is small and one is huge that hosts over a dozen people. Incredible price for what you receive.
ATV and walking trails right off the property and you're within national forest land. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming and are very much there to help make your stay or trip enjoyable. You can't beat the stars here. We will

I rented a pontoon boat from Rollway Resort to use on Cooke Damn Pond for a summer camping trip. Jim and Lanae delivered the boat to our chosen boat launch and picked it up when our rental was through. The boat was in great shape and we had a blast using it. So convenient and such nice people! I look forward to renting cabins or canoes from them in the future.
