When we first started delivering in the Hilo area our motto was "Delivering the Restaurants to you." However; we have since grown our reach to help all forms of business in last-mile logistics with their direct to consumer sales.

I placed a food order and was quoted a time of 4:30 pm for delivery. I went back to check the status of my order at 3:50 pm and saw that my delivery time was changed to 5:55 pm. I immediately called the restaurant to tell them not to make my order. The restaurant said my food was ready just waiting to be picked up. I called express waiters. They said that my driver was on the way to the restaurant and I would have my food at the quoted time. At 4:30 pm I checked the status and it said the driver hadn’t left the restaurant. I called back to cancel my order. They told me the driver was stuck in

My family placed an order for a future delivery of sushi at a local restaurant. The order was never delivered and after searching the web for contact info (none is listed on the app) I phoned the company to inquire about the order. Despite placing the order at 5:27 pm local time for a 7 pm delivery, the order was never relayed to the restaurant. When pressed on the issue, they blamed the restaurant for being out of rice (a stretch, but ok) and also the move from daylight savings to standard time. This is THE best delivery service in Hilo. Express Waiters is always on time and all of the drivers are extremely friendly. Best of all, the management staff is above excellent and does everything in their power to guarantee you a great experience. If I can help it, I go thru no one else when ordering food delivery

Such a convenience to have a delivery service with great customer service! We use them quite often for several reasons: 1) support local: the owner is a Hilo boy who has worked so hard to expand delivery options from restaurants to groceries & liquor! 2) convenience & options: we were at a gathering pre-Covid and didn't want to drive to pickup more liquor, so we ordered 12pack of beer from Kadota Liquors & EW delivered to us quickly...beer was cold!! I have always order from Express Waiters. There service was horrible today. I placed an order through Express Waiters, and I receive a call not having a few items I want. I requested for something else, and the lady over the phone said ok. Then they call me back saying, I cant do that. Then I ask for a refund because I dont want to eat something that I am not getting or out of stock. I didn't mind pay extra for what I was requesting. After I requested for refund, they told me I am banned from their services. Thats how you treat a loyal customer supported your business with over at least 100 deliveries

Express waiters has been an absolutely great company I have had the privilege to experience. The drivers and staff are extremely full of aloha spirit and are very commutative if restaurants are out of anything. Prices are really good and compare to uber eats and other delivery services. I’m sure they are already working on this but the only thing that I can say that could be modified is the app and making it more user friendly to everyone but besides for that excellent! Proud to utilize this great business and wish it continued growth and success!

I've been ordering from Express Waiters since 2013, and throughout the years their service has always been top notch. Their website is easy to navigate, and I appreciate the wide selection of local restaurants to choose from. Drivers will call right away if a restaurant is out of something I've ordered and substitutions need to be made. Also, extremely important to note during the pandemic: they always wear their masks properly and keep their distance when delivering food. They might be a bit pricier in comparison to other food delivery services, but I feel good knowing that I'm paying for better

I use this service for many reasons. #1 IT'S LOCAL, #2 I'm disabled, #3 delivery cost less than a taxi round trip not counting the tip. They are professional and attentive and they have a nice list of dining options.
I know when I use this service I am helping the restaurants and this local company as well. I recommend them to all my friends. They are a class act. I've purchased roast duck from 1 plus 1 cafe twice, that was slamming, delicious Indian food from Kamana Kitchen, ramen from Tetsumen with a rich broth and killer meats and noodles. They have made my stay at home

Stayed at Hilo Hawaiian and looked up Bite Squad hoping they delivered for Hawaiian Style Cafe. Bite Squad's selection for breakfast was limited so we tried out Express Waiters. Although they didn't deliver for Hawaiian Style either, they do deliver for Ken's House of Pancakes so Ken's it was.
Delivery was quick, hot and special requests such as crispy hash browns, soft bacon, shoyu and ketchup were all honored. 5 stars for Express Waiters!

Always timely! So glad Hilo has a company like this! With most restaurants in Hilo not having delivery as an option, this place really solves that problem! Can't wait til more restaurants are added on though, selection could be larger! $7 add on to the delivery charge is kind of pricey if you're not ordering for a larger crowd. However, I think this is such a great idea!

I've ordered from this site countless times. Placing an order is quick and easy, the delivery is prompt, and the drivers are super friendly. I always hit up Express Waiters whether I'm at school studying late into the night or unable to directly go to a restaurant for some good eats. Keep up the great work, guys!

Awesome! My car was in the shop today, and I didn't feel like eating at the two restaurants near my office. This was my first time ordering with express waiters, and I am not disappointed! My food came in 40 minutes (estimated time was an hour), and the delivery guy was real nice. My food was hot, and everything was perfect. I love them. I will order again from in the future :D
