We enrolled our son early November (when I wrote my originally review) and decided to give Bay Aerials a chance and see what could be instore. After my review, Lisa, the owner, and i connected on ways of improvement from a parents perspective and she very graciously provided more information on items they are working on as a whole to make the entire experience better for all. Since than, I have noticed more teachers/ staff members out and about amongst parents and being more mindful of their classes while also incorporating customer service.
Thank you, Lisa for giving me the opportunity to provide

My kid was sick and missed 3 classes. There is no flexibility in scheduling the make up classes in a week. Only slot available is 7:30 pm every Friday.
They don't have policy to hold for 1 month. If the kid is sick or want to go for vacation, the only option is to cancel.
I am disappointed with the policies which are not fair with kids and parents.

We had are first sweet pea class with Karina. She was amazing and spoke Spanish. I really appreciated finding a place where my monolingual Spanish speaking daughter could understand what the instructions were. Karina was very sweet and reassuring to my little one who was a little scared at first. We can't wait for our next class.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing service I've received through email and in person from the front desk lady, I've had to cancel my kids classes. She is not friendly. My kids love the classes but Its unfortunate that bay ariel gives parents the work of scheduling a make up class that's "available" according to their website then only to receive another email saying it shows full on their end. It's also odd that front desk cant simply help with rescheduling over the phone/in person to have it settle then and there but to have this ongoing pursuit.

We are loving the ninja classes at Bay Aerials. Their outside set up is so well done and they change it up every week. They are definitely COVID safe and take all precautions seriously. I am so happy that my kids have an option for a safe outdoor activity. I couldn't be more pleased with how well they've created the outdoor program. Classes are small and there aren't too many classes happening at the same time.

The Coaches are amazing!!! They treat thekids like they are family. The gym is beautiful and clean. I have had both my girls at Bay Ariels going on eight years. Their friends are the girls on their team and they all support each other. Bay Ariels owner Lisa supports fun and striving to do your best. The atmosphere at Bay Ariels is amazing and I enjoy going there everyday. Great staff, great coaches, great gym.

I love this gym! They provide a multitude of classes and levels for children to grow. All of the staff members are helpful and are very knowledgeable in the sport of gymnastics. The bright colors of the gym create an upbeat and positive learning environment. The team's leotards are also super cute :)

Fortunata was a great coach in aerial silks, but we suddenly had a new instructor who wasn't so great and very inexperienced. We stuck around for a few more months to see if there would be any progress, but unfortunately things didn't improve. So we ended up canceling the class. Plus the lady with light skin and reddish brown hair at the receptionist desk is very rude. Rude is bad for business. They really need to work on their customer service skills.
I have a friend who is enthusiastic and extremely professional in aerial silks, acro, and yoga which is why my daughter and I became

I am giving the Business 2 stars based on how unprofessional they are. I have sent 2 emails about my daughters coach and I still have not received an answer or any type of correspondence at all.
I understand that people leave jobs and that coach's will change. What I am upset about is that my daughters coach has been changed on her a number of times and we have never been informed of the change. I always have to go ask the front desk and they just say oh ya the coach changed. It's one thing when someone is subbing but for it to be a permanent change we should be informed. On top of the

We have been going to Bay Aerials since the end of last year. We were previously at West Valley Gymnastics and had a wonderful coach named Carlo. When Carlo moved to Bay Aerials we decided to follow him there. He has done amazing things for both of our daughters. He is not only an excellent coach when it comes to technique and skill development, but he has provided something far more valuable to them. He has helped to instill a belief in themselves and a confidence that they never had before. His positive and encouraging approach has helped both my daughters overcome self doubt and learn to trust

This place is cool for kids that aspire to be gymnast. My daughter joined and she liked it for a short while. She lost interest, it had nothing to do with the staff or place, she just lost interest.
The place inside is huge! They have the girls separated by skill set and age group. The staff is friendly and patient. When you go in, they have little cubby holes you can put the child's shoes and things if you want. There is also a very large sitting are for parents with a downstairs and upstairs viewing area. There is kinda of a smell inside, like feet smell. Not terribly repugnant

Update. I had a thoughtful conversation with the owner on how to improve future parties and received an apology for things not going right and/or how I expected. I honestly felt that the owner was sincere and genuine and I appreciated that on top of everything. This is exactly what customer service should be like. I understand that sometimes things go wrong when they shouldn't BUT it's important when someone takes accountability, hears out the customer and appreciates feedback. I am a busy working mom but I am open to taking the time to have thus type interaction to make things better

Our son has been attending classes at Bay Aerials for the past five years, and we have had two birthday parties there, and we are very happy with the facility, the instructors, and the programs offered. The management has handled any concerns that have been raised over the years, and we find the staff to be very helpful overall. I would like to compliment Coach Harrison for his work with the Ninja class. He is friendly, professional, and great with the kids. Thanks, Coach, for all that you do to inspire and teach my son.

We just received another price increase email. 2 years ago it was $135/month, then they increased it to $145/month. Now it's going to be $165/month for 4 classes/month. I had to break my daughter's heart and let her know we need to go elsewhere or just discontinue it. I had hoped to stay to continue for another 2 years but now the cost will be too much.
I know quite a few people on the wait list for Airborne as they charge $40 less a month. Maybe their space is slightly smaller and their program is not as detailed but the price difference is significant.
My daughter will be sad

My kids went here until 2 weeks ago. They now go to Top Flight gymnastics and we are very happy. Top Flight has coed Ninja classes that are significantly cheaper and 5 minutes longer. My kids could not stop talking about how much they like their new class.
My daughter wanted to move into her brother's Ninja class because it looked more fun. They do these classes for enjoyment and exercise and not to become competitive gymnasts so I agreed. I called and asked for both of my children, age 7 and age 6, to be placed in the same Ninja Zone class. I was told it was against their policy to allow

They've just lost my business.
Tried to book a birthday party with them. Called 2x no one picks up the phone ... the 3rd time I call finally someone picks up. At first the receptionist suggest me to book later because it's 3 months out and there is a 75 non-refundable deposit, she said I have to go in person to book (not over the phone) and if I really want to do that I can come in, I said okay.
Went to the location, the area for the tots (3-4 years) is very small and mediocre, no kids under 3 are allow on the gym area. Then I was told by another lady that I can't book that

I really liked the facility and staff, until about a month ago (Feb '17). I am not sure if the management/owners changed or what....? All our favorite staff/coaches left. They changed all the equipment around for the toddler classes. Everything used to be spread out, now it's crammed in the back corner of the facility. They got rid of the two trampolines for the young kiddos to jump on.
My BIGGEST complaint is Margaret. The other teachers were VERY energetic, friendly, into teaching different techniques/skills. Margaret just plays babysitter. She'll sit, thumb around on her phone

UPDATE #2: Bay Aerials Gymnastics asked how they can help me with my daughter progress so it looks like they are really interesting in improvements.

We discovered this gym when they offered open gym to the public, free play for all children under five years old. The facility is amazing! Wall to wall tumbling Mats, trampolines, balance beams, ramps, slides, tunnels, foam pit, endless amounts of physical activities!
We also joined a FREE baby class! MsNicole the instructor is super sweet and supportive of Mommy and Baby. I enjoy for once I don't have to worry about my unstable toddler getting hurt and she able to climb, explore and roam independently. MsNicole challenges baby to try new things and encourages her to follow directions, develop

Not so easy to find because they are in an industrial area, but i guess they have to have a big warehouse like that. They have pretty good programs, but unfortunately my son wasn't fond of it. I figured since he liked to jump around at Rockin' Jump he would love gymnastics... nope. "Not the same mom!" he said. Their refund policy is reasonable.
