Services
Denicka Vaca is the owner of High Voltage Dance Academy. Ms. Vaca has been dancing since she was 5 years old, and joined a competitive team when she was only 6. Ever since then her dream was to one day open her own studio where she could inspire students with the love of dance like she was inspired.
Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Tap helps dancers learn and express rhythm and percussion. A combination of ballet and jazz, lyrical interprets the words in music in an emotionally expressive way. The dancers' movements attempt to illustrate the actual meaning and emotion communicated in the song with technique.
Dancers who wish to join Team and compete in regional dance competitions are selected through an audition process that happens at the beginning of every dance season (August). Being on team is a serious commitment and provides dancers with the opportunity to build up technique and challenge themselves to new heights.
