If you're looking for the best in UV tanning, we have highly engineered tanning equipment with top-of-the-line technology at all Zoom Tan locations. All locations offer the same level 5 booth at at every store to ensure you achieve maximum results. Our tanning booths are fast, warm, spacious and enjoyable with Zoom Tan Radio playing as a courtesy to help pass the time.
All of our UV beds are level 5 and cost $1 per minute (up to 12 minutes) for non-membership tanning. This differs state by state. In Florida and Georgia we require that you be at least 15 with parental consent. Pennsylvania have a state minimum tanning age of 17 with parental consent and New York requires that you must be an adult (18+ yrs) to UV tan.
Zoom Tan uniquely offers only stand up tanning booths and it's not just because you get a better, all round tan. Hygiene was Zoom Tan's primary reason for eliminating tanning beds and exclusively using standup tanning booths! Tanning is a very physical activity. Most indoor tanners choose to tan naked and 100% of tanning customers are partially naked.
Zoom Tan offers spray tanning services at each one of our locations. Every salon is equipped with Norvell and/or Versa Pro automatic tanning booths that are entirely manufactured in the USA. My membership ended and I wanted to just purchase a $3 Thursday tan deal they had going on.
The lady wouldn't let me just purchase a single tan. She told me I had to re-up my membership to get the deal which made absolutely no sense to me at all because then what would the point of there being a deal be? Anyways, I left pretty angry.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Im new to tanning and Lori explained everything to me about the process including the safety precautions. When I go into the location at Colvin Blvd, the amazing staff members that check me in, always double check to see if i have my goggles and if im in need of more lotions. The rooms are very clean and spacious, just wish music could be a little louder in the booths to help pass the time.

Always friendly service. Can usually get in and out quickly without much wait. I think I might have waited on a Saturday one time for 5 minutes to get a booth. Nice booths for UV, they can however get quite hot later in the afternoon on a busy day so best to go earlier in the day if the heat might be a problem for you.

Dirty and scorching hot. The booth's heat is absolutely unbearable and painful. I've tried this location more than once and I was sweating before I even got into the booth, then couldn't make it more than 2 minutes inside. There's zero AC in this building and the booths are unbearably hot to the point your skin is stinging and hurting within a couple minutes. Go to a different location.

I love zoom tan but every time i come to this location it is filthy. today i was told that i have to wait a few minutes because all of the tanning booths were taken which was fine. a customer left and the woman at the desk doesn’t go to clean the room and tells me which room to go to. a little suspicious but i went to the room thinking maybe it was a different one than where the customer that just left was. the room was filthy and the mirror had layers of dust and tanning lotion on it. i got in the booth and my feet were stuck to the floor. i was so grossed out i got out immediately after and

I’ve never visited a Zoom Tan location, nor have I ever utilized a stand-up bed! I received a gift certificate and used it to purchase a monthly membership for this location- it’s the closest for me- and so far, so good! Today was my first visit and tanning session and although I definitely prefer laying down and relaxing for a tan, this wasn’t an unpleasant experience! Staff was friendly and helpful explaining packages, lotions and the use of stand-up booths. It was definitely hot in the establishment, as other reviews say.. but you’re literally cooking your skin with bulbs of light, I

There is definitely something wrong with this place. The Colvin location is exactly like what another review said..... it is so hot in there. Not only hot outside the booth but while in the booth my skin was on fire! I actually had to open the doors to the booth because I was in actual pain! I was only in there for 4 minutes. I have never experienced anything like this. I can only say that this is probably what hell feels like! I went to the Sweethome location which is sort of out of my way but what a difference. I will be checking out the North Buffalo location today. If i don’t write another

I’ve been to tanning facilities around the country over the past 20 years. I’ve seen all types - from luxury to convenience. This place is all about convenience. I’m in and out usually faster than stopping at a gas station to fill up and grab a bottle of water. It’s clean, the bulbs work perfectly, the staff is friendly, the the prices are insanely low. All Buffalonians that end up pasty and depressed during the winter months should strongly consider joining Zoom Tan - it’ll get you out of the house/office and feeling good.
