Fred Smith has been in full time ministry since April of 1987 and has served in various leadership positions over the years. From Youth & Music Ministry, to State Youth & Discipleship Director for the Church of God in Arizona and Indiana and most recently, as Lead Pastor in the local church, Fred has a heart for helping individuals work through real life difficulties and realize their fullest potential at home, school, work, their communities and within their relationships.
Fred has a Master of Art's in Church Ministries (MACM) and a Master of Art's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MACMHC) from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN.

Academic Performance: Poor academic performance, severe reactions to poor test/paper grade, unrealistic career goals, chronic indecisiveness or procrastination, academic probation, poor study, reading, and/or comprehension skills, academic dismissal.

We currently do not accept insurance, which means that we do not bill insurance companies directly. Your counseling services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending or health care savings accounts. Health insurance plans and benefits vary. If you are interested in using your health insurance, please call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network counseling services.
Counselors with Center for Motivational Counseling Services do NOT operate as licensed counselors. We offer advice, coping skills and techniques designed to assist clients facing interpersonal difficulties based on master's level education and over 25 years of pastoral counseling experience. We do NOT provide client diagnosis or accept third party insurance.
