Dr. Roger Castro is a Central Park pediatric dentist, serving young patients in Denver and the surrounding communities. He attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. If that sounds familiar, it's because that's where Dr. Paddy went to school too and they were actually friends and classmates, both graduating in 2007!
Dr. Justin Owens is a Denver orthodontist and longtime resident of the Mile High City. He attended the University of Colorado where he achieved his bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology. While in school, he met his classmate's father who was a dentist and it sparked his interest in oral health.
Going to the dentist for kids shouldn't be a chore! We make it entertaining and fun, which sets the stage for a positive relationship with oral health that will last a lifetime. Our kid-friendly office and experienced staff tailor each visit to fit our youngest patients' individual needs. Kids' mouths are different from those of grown-ups and we're specially trained to care for them.

For 8 years I took my daughter to one place for her dental appointments because it was close to where i lived at the time. Circumstances caused me to have to move and therefor look for another dentist. I was blessed when i found this place because the people there are AMAZING. Dr. Roger and his staff don't treat my daughter and I as just another patient they treat us like we are important to them. They are friendly people and make the whole visit comfortable.

It was such a great experience! my son had an emergency visit and he was able to be seen same day. Dr. Rogers and Trisha were amazing with kiddo, and made him feel comfortable, they even brought Lucy; their therapy dog to help calm him down. I highly recommend this practice, you will love it. Thank you for all your help!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Roger was honestly the best dentist we’ve dealt with. He was thorough, detailed, comforting and gave us options with the approach to our kids dental care. The set up for the dental office was next level. Mounted TVs on the ceiling at every station so the kids can feel content while the staff and doctor work on our child’s smile. The knowledge here again wins the five star review. The doctor ensured we were completely informed on all scenarios and had all the tools to make the right decision for our children. We will definitely return to this location

“Dr. Roger is the best kids dentist ever. He’s my best friend.” Or so my 5 year old says! Dr. Roger is fun, has a great way of interacting with kids, and is very communicative with parents. We’ve been going there for years, now with our almost-2 year old too, and can’t speak highly enough of Kids Mile High!

I am so happy I found Kids Mile High. As a first time mom and someone who grew up with not the best dental plan it was important to me to be on top of my son's dental hygiene. our first time visit went smoothly. they have tons of activities in the waiting room to occupy a 1 1/2 year old or a kid at any age. The dentist was really nice and informative and really explained everything well. I am happy with my choice to take my son here an look forward to a long and healthy dental journey for my son with Kids Mile High.

I highly recommend Dr. Roger and his staff. Everyone is always so kind and friendly, I have four children who actually LOVE going to the dentist. My oldest is 8 and has special needs and doesn't like to be touched. Dr. Roger's always goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and explains everything he's doing to keep her calm. I truly appreciate all your patience. Thornton location is beautifully remodeled as well.

I can't speak highly enough about this dental practice, had such a wonderful experience here with Dr. Roger and his staff. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the pristine condition of the facility and the warm welcoming staff. Everyone here was very friendly and accommodating.
During the exam, Dr. Roger thoroughly took the time to explain the issue and how to correct it. He was very professional, knowledgable and detailed orientated. Him and his staff do a great job of making you feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients here.

Dr. Roger and the assistants were incredible. My 8 year old son had been having tooth pain and needed to get checked out. Dr Roger helped us understand what was going on and what was needed to help ease his pain. We worked out a plan to have his 2 teeth pulled and then we worked on payment as well. My son was super nervous but knew we needed to… have the teeth pulled. Dr Roger and the assistants were so calming and efficient. OMG! This place is truly amazing!! If you are looking for a new dentist for your child. Don’t look any farther!! This is where you need to go!!
They are beyond patient with the kiddos and have lots of toys and distractions for the kiddos.
My son did great and he gets overwhelmed EASILY!! And did absolutely amazing here!
We discovered that my daughter is lip tied but they made the fright of that news less scary by explaining how easy the “surgery” will be and how much it will improve her eating, breathing and talking

Dr. Paddy and his staff were awesome!! They were beyond patient with my wild 1 year old and were great about explaining some issues that he has that I was not aware of at all. They scheduled me promptly to get these things taken care of and I felt very comfortable in the beautiful office! I will be switching my older kids over as well! Dr Castro & Ms Tricia were absolutely amazing with my little guy. I highly recommend Kids Mile High. I chose them due to both dentists having experience with children who have needs. I have a 3 year old with developmental delays and some sensory processing issues, so going I was not sure what to expect of our first visit to this location. Dr Castro… was very thorough & allowed for my little man to walk around the office and do laps before starting the exam. They were so considerate and took breaks as needed. I am still bragging about how well my son did. I know it has a lot to do

Dr Roger and the entire staff provide a warm welcoming environment for kids. They are gentle, comforting, and extremely good at making my kids enjoy their appointments- even when there are cavities! Their work is always top notch, and yields beautiful results. We have been impressed with every experience at this practice- from extractions to cleanings to cosmetic procedures. If they accepted adults, I would switch over in a heartbeat! This is a practice that you will want to keep your kids with from the first baby teeth through high school.

They were awesome. They took the time to help my toddler not be afraid. They were gentle and caring and helped me understand clearly what they were going to do. I was amazed how well my son did and how they were with him. The faculty was clean, well organized and kept my son engaged while we waited.
