I am Melissa, the small business owner of Cordova Sweets & Treats. I've been professionally baking and decorating cakes for over 10 years and I absolutely love it! I went to culinary school at IOT for baking and pastry in 2008. After I graduated from there I was hired at Whole Foods Market as a cake decorator and later became the head cake decorator.
I was sad to leave Whole Foods, but I began a new journey and used my experience and passion for baking to run my own little business. I became licensed to bake and sell my cakes and desserts from my home kitchen. I hope to someday have my own bakery either in Fresno or somewhere near the Bay Area where my husband currently works.

Surprise a family member, co-worker, or friend with a breakable chocolate box! Each box can be filled with anything you request. For example: favorite candies, money, lottery tickets, jewelry, etc. The inside treats are revealed after the box is broken with a wooden mallet that comes with your purchase.
This cheesecake has a hint of almond flavor with mascarpone cheese and fresh berries inside. It is also topped with fresh berries and is coated on the sides with toasted sugar almonds. You can choose a traditional graham cracker crust or white cake bottom layer. I accept terms & conditions and understand that once my order is offically approved I can not change the date.
Once a cake has been picked up or delivered, it is your responsibility to ensure that the cake is stored properly. Transport your cake carefully and do not leave your cake in the car! Cakes must be refrigerated immediately. All cakes/cupcakes must must be stored in the refrigerator until at least 20 minutes prior to serving.
Pick up times will be posted on my Instagram stories. Follow me on Instagram to know when my flash sales are. Treats sell out fast! There is limited stock so be sure to turn your notifications on. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR ORDER within the time that will be posted on my story through Instagram. I WILL NOT offer them earlier nor will I offer them later.
When inquiring about a cake or treats, please leave a detailed message with the date needed, servings, filling, flavor cake, design you have in mind, colors, and if you would like any additional toppings listed on my website such as flowers, candy, toys etc., so I can get you the most accurate quote possible.

I walked in noone acknowledges this. I waited and waited behind one customer ordering customized items which took longer with no someone will be right with you or even a smile. It was if I didn't exist even though other workers kept walking by me. I guess I wasn't important enough for them. Won't be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Placed an order on a cake on 12/21 to be picked up on Christmas Eve 12/24 at 3:45 pm for my dads birthday that day. I received a confirmation on my order when it was placed but never got any other sort of updates regarding my order on the day of pick up which I thought was really weird but didn’t make a big deal out of. Finally, at 3:49 pm I decide to call the store and ask if by any chance my order was ready to be picked up yet (again, have not received any call or email yet) only to be told it was indeed ready but the store would be closing for the day at 4:00 pm.
