At Duke City Primary Care, we understand that your relationship with your medical provider is important. Primary care providers are the first line of defense for patients when illness or injury strikes. For day-to-day care and minor injuries or illnesses, your primary care professional provides care by promoting patient health, providing counseling, and more.
One important aspect of living a healthy lifestyle is routine, preventative care. Primary care providers act as your first point of contact for regular physicals (annual wellness visits), routine health screenings as well as a go-to person for health concerns and sick visits. By establishing a relationship with a primary care provider when you are healthy, you may be able to catch potential problems early and/or avoid them all together.

I've gone here several times and have been very happy with them. That changed today. Today, my daughter went with my husband. She has had a chronic condition that has been flaring up for a couple of weeks now and hit hard last night. She is an adult, but a young and green individual when it comes to medical stuff. She was in severe pain and in distress. The PA saw her alone, as my husband stepped out of the room.
With her being in so much pain she wasn't able to think straight to answer all the questions completely and fully. The PA discounted her previous medical condition because my daughter

Mr. Walters provides exceptional care and has a genuine interest in helping their patients. I like how they appreciate feedback and are knowledgeable in what physicians and clinics are available in the community to better help their patients. They referred me to an amazing physical therapy office that they said would be a good fit for me and they were right. It is a long wait for in office visits (about 40 minutes) to see them but they don't make you feel rushed and take time to understand your needs.
I found interactions with the telephone (?) staff to be a mixed bag. I sometimes was told incorrect

Dr. Bradley Walters made such a difference during my visit today. Each time I’ve come in to see him I don’t fell rushed and I don’t feel like a “number”. He takes the time to chat with me about what I need help/treatment with and gives me an in-depth rundown of my options. Probably the best doc I’ve ever worked with!
Would highly recommend working with him.

Twice I've been to this clinic, and have seen two different providers. Terrible. Won't treat you in any way and tell you to go somewhere else. I've been struggling to find a primary care physician. No one practicing here is interested in doing so. To top it off, I brought in records of my latest medical treatment, and they kept it! I went in asking if they could help get my records in order and they kept what little I had! With healthcare like this, you're better off dying. 👎🏼

Everyone in the office was so professional and kind. Christie was just what I had hoped for for my primary care. She made me feel comfortable and listened to what I had to say. I didn’t feel rushed which was important to me. They were very busy but she never made me feel like she was in a hurry to get me out of the office. I am very pleased with their service. They got me in at my schedule time also and that was important to me. I just was very happy.

Calling and having to deal with the staff was one of the worst experiences iv had all week. (Not including injury) as I called the main Duke city care Phone number listed on Google. A women answered the line and has never made it so hard to schedule and appointment. They are filled with additude with any question you ask or if you don't have the correct answer such as the name of the specific cross streets are located you will not be helped but only giving a huge amount of SASS. I suggest the front desk receptionist look for a new day job because customer service is definitely not your forte.

I enjoy going to my primary care now thanks to Duke City. The staff is always friendly, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen by my provider. The nurses who check vitals and get me checked in are always courteous snd make sure to ask why I am visiting today but If there is anything else I need to discuss while I’m there which makes me feel like they truly do care about my health rather than just trying to get me in and out. My provider is always very thorough and makes sure to answer any or concerns I may have. Again they are efficient and fast but I am never rushed this is something
