Please see Coach Wilson if you are interested in Winter Workouts to stay in shape during the off-season. They are held Tuesdays/Thursday from 1:45-2:30 in Room E304. RTHS enjoys the demographics of a small urban community in a rural setting. RTHS receives students from 6 different feeder schools creating a diverse student population around 750 students. RTHS is committed to recruiting, hiring and retaining candidates of diversity. Staffulty enjoys a culture of collaboration that has been established throughout the school.
The first public school in Rantoul was conducted during the winter months of 1857-1858. In the fall of 1859, the first public school building was built at the corner of Congress and Century. Eight years later, a new school house was built between Congress and Champaign Avenues on Frederick St. The original four classroom building had to be expanded several times as the student enrollment increased.
The school nurse serves in a role that bridges health care and education. The school nurse provides direct nursing services to keep students and staff healthy, safe, in school, and ready to learn. All duties are performed in accordance with district/state board of education policies and procedures, and state laws regarding Illinois nurse practice act.
You will find information here on how to sign up for collegeboard which allows you to see your SAT test results and send your scores to colleges. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are designed as introductory level college courses in their content area. These courses prepare students to take the course's College Board AP Exam at the end of the school year.
