Most Americans don't realize what we really have for medical insurance is catastrophic insurance. On average, we pay $100 to $400 per paycheck for our insurance premiums, and then still have to pay a deductible of $500 to $5,000 before insurance really kicks in. Now we are also having to pay 10%-30% of what they call co-Insurance.
This means we are responsible for paying 10%-30% of the overall office visit bill even after the deductible is paid. Why are we paying so much and why are health care costs rising? The answer is the insurance companies. They are getting more than 42 cents of every dollar spent in medicine. That is why they can afford to put their names on stadiums and arenas.

Services
I want to remove barriers to care that have be created by government regulations and insurance company rules. I want to remove the restrictions the typically leave physicians in the traditional healthcare setting buried in nonsense paperwork. I want to spend my time where it counts: with my patients.
Direct Primary Care is comprehensive primary care that is affordable, accessible and separate from traditional insurance based fee for service practices. In the traditional insurance model, many people today are avoiding basic care because of the inability to pay. They have high deductibles and co-pays for simple primary care.
Direct primary care practices serve as a patient's "primary care medical home" (D-PCMH) where they go for all routine primary, preventive and chronic care management types of care. Patients pay one low monthly fee-sometimes as low as $75-directly to their direct primary care facility for all of their everyday health needs.
What is Direct Primary Care? DPC is a new model of healthcare that focuses on putting the patient first and restoring the patient-doctor relationship. That mean treating the patient when they need it, never rushing through appointments, and being proactive in creating treatment plans.
For a low, flat monthly fee you get unlimited office visits with no copayment, direct access to your doctor by cell phone, text, email, same day or next day visits, extended, relaxed office visits, access to discounts on medications, labs, pathology and imaging, all without the need for insurance. We remove the intrusiveness of health insurance and deliver affordable and personal care, unparalleled by any other model.

You will know all costs on the day of service. Most procedues are included, such as in office surgeries, sutures, EKG, stress tests, and more.

Dr Palm helped me through one of the darkest periods of my life. When he left salem health we followed him to his own practice. He has been my husbands doctor since he was a kid and is now 35. Both our boys see him now as well so it’s a family affair. Ron is more like a cool uncle who genuinely cares about you in all facets of your life. It took a lot of courage to move away from the conventional healthcare model with thousands of patients to a direct primary care model so that he could spend more time helping people get better rather than just merely treating symptoms. There is no other doctor

Canceled the month before the next payment. Called in about canceling, being told I wouldn’t be charge afterwards. Was told I sign a contract stating I have to pay another month payment after canceling, even though I never received a copy of such contract. On their website states ‘month to month’ payment.

Dr Taylor Johnson is a personal and caring medical professional. He treats a patient as a person and not a set of test results. I would highly recommend him to all family and friends without reservation and have. I have not seen this level of care and concern in over 40 years of care. Time is spent answering questions and medical needs with referrals to specialists as needed. Would never look anywhere else for medical care. It is all given here. The care begins for you from the minute you check in.

Different than most doctors today, because they treat their patients like people. Dr. Johnson is great to work with! They're thorough, follow up just to make sure you're okay, and actually care to try and diagnose rather than just push you through to move on to the next. Best primary care I've ever had

My daughter was Dr Palm’s first patient on the very first day he started practicing here. My family and I have been with him since, and I trust him completely. He is a caring, passionate and honest doctor who cares about every patient. Tina, Mariam and Trisha are incredible as well and always make you feel like you are important right as you walk through the door. I feel blessed to have them apart of our family!
