My strengths are in valuing and selling companies; raising capital; and small business startup, finance, strategy, and operations. The founder of Ampure Capital, I have sold or raised more than $220MM of capital over the past 15 years. I focus on cleantech and socially responsible companies, though I also work with many other different types of small businesses.

We help at the critical transitions - venture initiation/feasibility analysis, business planning, raising startup capital, strategic planning for growth, preparing your business for sale, selling your business, and reinvesting in new ventures. We offer the following services that are crucial to launching and managing a successful business.
Feasibility studies are market research studies that assess the viability of a new business venture. The goal of a feasibility study is to assess the strengths and weakness of a product, team, and business model. Then, after exhaustive market research, to determine the resources required to execute the plan and the prospects for success.
Business plans are used to raise equity capital, raise debt capital, win grants, annual planning and budgeting, to sharpen operational focus, and to collaborate with partners or employees. For each end goal the business plan development process is slightly different and they are written in a different way.
Most entrepreneurs come to us for help raising capital. Many want venture capital and we can certainly help raising money from VCs. However, 99% of companies are not a good fit with VCs. Venture capital is expensive and very difficult to get. Venture capitalists look for home runs - companies that will return ten times their money within 5 or less years.
