Dr. Lawson has been practicing family medicine since 1998. She is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. She was voted first place for Best Bedside Manner Our Health Magazine 2009. She has been a preceptor for Medical students, Physician Assistant students, and Nurse Practitioner students and was awarded the Preceptor of the Year in 2003.

Dr. Lawson was also recognized in the Top Doctor edition of the Roanoker Magazine. She has been in private practice in Daleville, VA for over nine years and has a great desire to help her patients live healthier lives.

I was very hesitant to try a new Dr's office at first, I was pleasantly surprised. Both providers in the office were very attentive and listened to all of my concerns. Thankful to have this crew on medical team!

Dr Lawson is a very knowledgeable doctor and always gives you whatever time you need in an appointment and willing to answer as many questions as you ask. She remembers things about my health that I have forgotten. She has recently made some staffing changes and I have never had a bad experience. I have been with her since before she went into private practice - my whole family has. My kids (early-mid 20’s now) have grown up with her as their doctor. They feel they can talk to her about anything and won’t go to anyone else.

I’ve been coming here for years. I love Dr. Lawson but every single time I come for a visit I show up early and end up being here for over two hours every single time. There is no reason a two minute visit should have me waiting two hours. Very unprofessional, and the staff behind the desk is always disrespectful and very short.

Lawson is a caring physician. However, her front desk associate is a dark circle over that entire office. She is rude, unprofessional and dismisses patients who have an issue. She has been an issue for many years.

Dr Lawson runs a top notch practice. I am not a typical patient meaning I have a condition that precludes me to some very out of the box healthcare needs, however she is always ready and willing to help or to provide insight on my situation.She is thoroughly proficient and knows how to get things done smoothly and efficiently for her patients. Her staff is also friendly and eager to help as well. I highly recommend Lawson Family Medicine and Aesthetics.

Frosted window will be closed when you enter, as frosty as the staff. They run the office. Dr. Lawson is great, but unfortunately she has personal ties with those who sabotage her practice.

I have always enjoyed Dr. Lawson, she has an awesome bedside manner, can retain the infor you give her w/o being distracted by writing it down. Her staff is also friendly.
I also like her looking or using diff perspectives/alternatives on the "practice" of medicine
