What are orthotics, anyway? You've probably heard the word, but might not know exactly what it means. Ortho- is a word that comes from the Greek language and means straight, right, or correct. In the podiatric world, orthotics are custom devices designed by your foot doctor to correct the alignment of your step and relieve any type of problems.
The most common cause of yellowed, thick and /or deformed toenails is a fungal infection of the toenail. The fungus that infects the nail, most commonly, is the same fungus that causes athletes foot. I see Dr. Sorenson, he is simply the best. He do not have you waiting for a long period of time, he make sure you understand what is going on with your issues, he answers all/any questions you may have, and he is very patient. All of the ladies are friendly, happy, and sympathetic of all of your issues. The waiting room is not big at all, but you will not be waiting in the waiting room for long. The ladies greet you by name when you walk in the door. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a podiatrist, they are great.

Michfoot Surgeons are the absolute best choice if you are experiencing any problems. I feel, I am seen as, more than "just a patient" of Dr. Leff's. The office is warm and inviting filled with staff and other patients that treat you just like family. I must say, the pain was unbearable at times however, I couldn't have selected a better family to care for me. Yes, this office comes highly recommended!

My daughter is 15 years old. She had a horrible bunion since she was little, but doctor couldn't operate until her growth plates were sealed. I read a lot of reviews looking for the best Doctor for her. Well let me tell you I found him. Dr Leff is an EXCELLENT doctor. The surgery was very smooth. She only took pain pills for 3 days and was done. The pills were enough to take the pain away. She was very comfortable. The office staff was so nice and friendly. The follow ups were great. I would like to thank the entire practice. When, I walked in the office. I waited no more than 5 minutes to be seen. The staff greeted me by my name all the time. So, there was no need to sign in. After, the laser treatment. I was literally in flip flops in (4) weeks from my surgery date. However; it's recommended to be in a surgical boot for at least 6 to 8 weeks after your surgery date.

It has been extremely rare to enter any doctors office that is not full of people waiting to be seen. This doctor has been punctual for every single visit, I think a first for me. At the same time I have never felt rushed, questions are always well covered, office staff attentive and friendly. Each visit has actually been a pleasure. I 100% recommend Dr Randy Leff! Personally, I have had 3 foot issues requiring surgery and approximately 10 office visits. This medical practice gets a 5++ !!

I had bunion surgery and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I have had many surgeries but this one scared me for life. Dr. Leff took to much bone out of my toe leaving my toe to stick out making it impossible to be comfortable in a pair of shoes. Had to go back in and made an incision on the bottom of my foot which is a major no no. Last but not leaset I got staff infection so I had to get a pic line put in and I had to go twice a day for an hour plus to get an IV of antibiotic. After a year of messing around with Michfoot Surgeons I went to an orthopedic surgeon that fixed my foot

Dr. Leff and his staff are great, I emailed after business hours, and within an hour I got a response from Dr. Leff. He advised he could get me in the next day. I called at 7:30a.m. the next day and they were able to accommodate my schedule to get me in that afternoon. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by the very friendly staff. My wait was less than 5 minutes. Dr. Leff was able to determine the pain, in my heel, that I had been dealing with for 6 months right away. I had surgery with Dr Leff in November, and recovery was truly a breeze. I had a great experience at my appointment with Dr. Randy Leff. He has excellent bedside manners. He was attentive, patient, sympathetic, and genuine. He's clearly knowledgeable and confident!! He restored my hope that I will feel better and my faith that good pidiotrists exist! I left with a smile on my face! The office staff are nice, friendly, and helpful! I had a wonderful experience at this office. They made me a same-day appointment, were very pleasant, paperwork was available online to print out beforehand or to complete on an iPad in the office. The office was modern and clean. Staff VERY friendly and the x-rays were totally electronic and available immediately - no waiting. Dr. Leff was friendly, engaging and gave me a thorough exam. I'm very happy with my experience, despite having to leave in a boot due to a stress fracture.

I am SO happy I came to Michfoot Surgeons to have my sprained ankle looked at. The staff was beyond friendly, welcoming, and took care of my urgent need to be seen. Amanda was especially helpful when booking my appointment. She was so sweet and showed utmost empathy in making sure that I was taken care of. If you need to see a foot doctor I highly recommend you go to Michigan Foot Surgeons. Not only are they experts in their field but they have intentionally built a great culture that is focused entirely on the client experience! No waiting, everyone is kind/helpful and they are modern in their use of technology. I (and my feet) are very happy!
