Nice place and plenty of room to maneuver a large 5th wheel. Close enough to town, yet far enough away. Easy access for family to come visit. I was a little surprised at charging $3/guest to visit us; we were in town to meet a new grandchild and check on another child; not sure the purpose of the fee?? Nice camp store with a lot of options. Firewood is expensive, but go a short distance south on Hwy 124 and a guy sells firewood for $4/bundle.

Pros: clean bathrooms and showers, paved roads, movie nights, laundry, arcade, felt like a homey atmosphere, beautiful river
Cons: really busy, lots of kids on bikes and tons of golf carts everywhere, not a quiet after 10 kinda campground... Noisy till 1 am.
Overall: We want to come back but not on a weekend...a bit too loud. 5 stars still!

My kids loved coming here. Great store stocked with everything. Definately kids focused with lots of activities. Build a bear, design your own t-shirt, train ride, Movie Turbo on big screen outdoors. reptile… show, tubing, and jumping pillow. Negatives are the internet is horrible, sites are very small/on top of each other, and there are golf carts everywhere. You really have to watch where you're walking. They have a great restaurant on site too. Just wish campground would make everything all inclusive instead of charging all the extras. Tube rental extra, jumping pillow/ mini golf also

Stay away—Worse campground we have ever stayed at! It started when we first arrived. We parked our camper within the marked lines of our site, but the seasonal site we were next to was upset because we were too close to them—not much we can do here as the sites are very tiny and difficult to get into.they watched us set up, wish they would have addressed with us directly instead of going around after we were set up and talking about us to their neighbors. Next, we constantly had seasonal campers around us walking through the middle of our site all day everyday. When we asked them to politely

Lots to do and friendly staff! Loved the river! Especially loved putting our chairs in the creek and hanging out, I have never done that before and it was perfect! We stayed in the new cabins and they were quite comfortable. The kids loved the double bunk beds. Bloodies were delicious. We did the tye die, glitter tattoos, gaga ball tournament, bags tournament, fireworks, and the kids jumped on the inflated pulled and played on the play ground quite a bit. Would suggest getting a golf cart but the park was a great size to be able to walk throughout the park.

Booked the new Bungalow for a 3 night weekend. Knowing we would be arriving late (11pm) we called the office 5 times to remind them to include a map and parking pass on the front of the office. Upon arrival, nothing for our unit. We had to call security and luckily someone brought us to our Bungalow.
Upon entering the bungalow we noticed it looked pretty nice although the bathroom looked like it was never cleaned between guests. There was sand and mud over the shower floor. Drain was terrible. Pretty frustrated that with Covid noone bothered to clean between reservations.

My husband and I decided to take a little trip in our camper-just fly by the seat of our pants and go where the wind took us. ( Not a real good idea during a busy July season!) I was frantically searching websites on my phone for a place to stay on a friday afternoon. I found one opening at the O'Neil Campground. I snatched it even though I wasn't happy about the the price or the two night minimum on weekends. But truthfully I didn't want to stay in a Walmart parking lot either .Not knowing what to expect, we plugged it into the GPS and away we went. My best explanation of the campground?....I

The amenities, very friendly and accommodating staff, and all-around great campground!
We absolutely loved our stay (5/14-5/16) and are already planning a longer summer weekend next year. I wished we lived a little closer than 3-1/4 hours...we’d be camping there more often!!! Thanks for such a great weekend!!!
