Our PA's are fully trained, certified mid-level providers. They undergo extensive training following college, and are licensed and regulated as medical providers. They are able to evaluate patients, perform procedures, and write prescriptions, working in conjunction with their supervising physicians.
Elizabeth Ahlstrom graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Gannon University in Erie, PA in 1999. She started her career at Avail Dermatology in 2000 and began learning the finer points of the specialty under the tutelage of Dr. Mark Holzberg and Dr. Mark Ling. In 2001 she left the practice for a rural health clinic in Childress, Texas where she gained many fond memories working with a group of family practice physicians.
Michele LoRe', originally from New York, graduated from the Stony Brook University Physician Assistant program in 2008 with a Masters in Medical Science. Her career as a Physician Assistant began in pediatrics for one year before discovering her love of dermatology.
She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Georgia Society of Physician Assistants, American Acne & Rosacea Society as well as the International Hyperhidrosis Society.Michele prides herself on staying up to date on all areas of dermatology. She specializes in providing evaluations for patients interested in the FDA-approved miraDry technology.
