In 1963, a young lady named Margaret Johnson started a dance studio in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The Studio's curriculum included ballet, tap, jazz and acro for ages pre-school thru adult. With the addition of gymnastics in 1974, Johnson Dance & Gymnastics was born. Celebrating our 50 years in business, Johnson's is expanding once again to accommodate our expanding enrollment.
We are adding over 2000 square feet, new equipment and foam pits! He has a B.A. degree from Baldwin Wallace University majoring in Business and a minor in Physical Education. Gym / Recreational/Team Director/Competitive Team Coach for JDG Cheryll started her gymnastic career at the age of 13 where she moved up to competitive gymnast in the 80's for Johnson's.

Services
Our Non-Competitive Athletes spend 4 hours per week in the gym training. Our Competitive Athletes spend several hours a week at the gym based on their level. Our Competitive Teams compete both local competitions and out of State Invitational competitions. Is a Competitive Dance Team. Students are invited as young as the age of 5 to compete in various competitions throughout Ohio.
Due to limited seating, we ask if you plan on staying to watch that only 1 parent/spectator (18 and over) will be permitted to stay as long as there is a seat available. Parent/Spectator must remain in a seat until their child's class is finished. Siblings in a class prior or after scheduled class are asked to sit on their parents lap to keep the seats available for other parents/spectators.

My daughter just began taking classes here in December. She absolutely loves it! We decided to have her 8th Birthday Party at the center this past Saturday. I was very inpressed! The kids had private and full access to all of the gymnastics equipment! There were 2 instructors present the entire time and even played a party game with the group. The party room was decorated in my girls favorite color before we arrived with paper products and utensils provided which made it so much easier for us! My daughter received a laminated birthday poster and a metal for being the birthday girl! I highly recommend

I went there i was in prepstars and it was around 130 and the staff was so nice coach ally was the best made sure u were condescend 1 time i cried but she really helped me.i was supposed to go to team were u comepete but they wanted 500 for all your compation plus 200 for the class so i gad to quit but it was a great plass if u dont care about the money you have to pay then u will love it💝

This is just my opion and my moms . I went there for there open gym it was cheap ... but ..... the owner guy was weird in a bad way ......if you think about going there or bringing your kids there .....keep an eye out there .........! but this is just my opion check out the place for your self i could be wrong ... . keep safe i love you all
