My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it! So relaxing, well maintained and the owners are the best- very friendly, accommodating and Marcie shared her wonderful cinnamon rolls with us! I cannot say enough about how incredible Chris and Marcie are.
We have a 70ft motorhome and there was plenty of room to maneuver and set up. Laundry room and bathrooms were spotless! I loved the store and gift shop!
We will be back!

We recommend Kootenai River Campground! 👌 Check-in was seemless, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our site. Owners were wonderfully friendly, helpful with ideas and fliers on local attractions. We travel in a 44' Class A w/Toad. Our big rig pull thru site was W/E, gravel and wide, easy dump station at entrance. The public facilities were clean including laundry and restrooms. We found a small shareable library in the laundry room with movies and a neat pergola just outside with seating. Fabulous gift and supply store with many surprising

5 stars for sure! Maybe 6. Great little campground with excellent facilities (restrooms, showers, laundry, dish sink). Really thoughtful owners (Chris and Marcy); many little details throughout that show they care to take the extra step on behalf of their guests.
We stayed in a mini-cabin (no kitchen/restroom, but fridge, micro, table, bed, etc.) and it was perfect. A step up from tenting without the full-on cabin cost.
Will definitely return!

I can not say enough great things about this property. The owners Marcie and Chris are delightful, helpful and very funny. The laundry room and bathrooms were great and very clean. The park is a short walk to the Kootenai River and a short drive to the Kootenia Falls. The park is nicely laid out. It was a short 3 night stay but we would come back if we are ever in this area again.

Great place, great owners. I'm glad we stayed. Marcy and Chris were the hardest working people I've encountered. They actually make others feel welcome and go out of their way for you. I think they may have stopped to sleep but that's uncertain. 😄 I don't think we'll find this kind of service at a campground in the near future.
Clean bathrooms, laundry, great store with a variety of goods and food. There was highway noise but the setting and service overshadowed it.

Possibly the best campground I have ever stayed in. Really friendly and helpful folks, well cared for grounds, excellent facilities and a lovely path down to the river. There's a pleasant pavilion with comfy seating, a fire pit and a water feature. Playground for the kids and a well equipped laundry room too. It would have been five stars but for the highway noise. Book early to get a spot away from the road.

My wife and I are avid campers, and Kootenai River Campground is truly a cut above the rest. The owners are friendly, helpful, and informative, and I felt like I knew them my entire life within five minutes of meeting them. Immaculate bathrooms (with ample hooks in the shower stalls!), tidy premises, and they were still working at 10:00 pm when I turned in for the night! I stayed an extra day simply because of the fantastic customer service.

This is a fantastic park!! The owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel like family going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable at all times. They would drive around in the evenings and check on everyone to see if there was anything they needed. Blown away with the hospitality! Campground is clean and beautiful with lots of trees and the bathrooms/showers were always clean which is a huge thing for me. Thank you for an incredible fun weekend, we will be back for sure.
