As the most common cause of chronic joint pain and disability, arthritis wears away the protective cartilage that lines the inside of your joints. This causes your bones to rub together, which results in the painful friction between your joints. If you suffer from arthritis and nonsurgical treatments no longer work for you to relieve your pain; you might need to consider undergoing a joint replacement surgery.
While motor vehicle accidents, sports, and falls are usually among the leading causes of fractures, the nature of their treatments vary depending on the severity of the associated injuries. Whether your fracture requires a cast, a splint, or a surgical intervention, you can count on Craig McManaman DO PLLC to provide you with quality fracture and injury care that's second to none.
When it comes to orthopedic pain-relief solutions, you can count on locally and family-owned Craig McManaman DO PLLC to provide you with top-quality care personalized to fit your individual needs. The most common type of injections for arthritis are steroid injections such as Kenalog, as well as hyaluronics injections such as Synvisc (viscosupplementation), which are injected into knee joints to supplement naturally occurring hyaluronic acid.

Dr McManaman and Bad Axe hospital did a great job. Auto accident broke my left femur. Dr McManaman put a rod the length of the femur in the center of the bone. After time and rehab I walk normally and the left leg feels as good as the right leg. Great job. Bad Axe hospital has great people working with patients. Outstanding job!! Photo shows one end of the rod.
