From routine checkups to treatments for surgery, Robert Sullivan DPM is equipped to handle all your podiatric needs. Dr. Sullivan graduated from Temple University and received his medical degree from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency as a chief resident in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Osteopathic Medical Center in Philadelphia in 1986.

Dr. Sullivan did my lapiplasty surgery in June and I couldn't be happier. Scheduling appointments is easy and he returned an after hours/weekend emergency call from me within minutes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Surgery was not pushed - I went in knowing exactly what I wanted - and I plan on doing my other foot soon. Highly recommend!

I welcome this opportunity to express my appreciation for the care and treatment provided for me by Dr. Sullivan and his fine staff. I had been suffering with two ingrown toenails and arrived at the office with lots of anxiety. Upon meeting Dr. Sullivan, I found him to be professional, patient and friendly. He listened to my concerns, clearly answered my questions and explained his procedure. At the end of my visit I was able to walk out of the office without the pain I had originally. Good Doctor due to the fact he helped me initially. He quickly identified the problem and offered solutions and explanation. I was not impressed with my follow up visit though. I think the staff should be educated to not jump to a one way fix so fast. One of the nurses informed me I had to wear insoles for the rest of my life because I am now old and more prone to injuries (I am in early 30s and healthy). It may be so, but what about loosing excess weight, physical therapy, stretching, you name it. I wander what they tell people in their 50s? At the end of my visit, the Doctor kept talking about

Dr. Sullivan is an excellent podiatrist. He performed successful surgery on my husband several years ago. He performed surgery on the great toe of my right foot 5 years ago and I didn’t hesitate to return with a similar problem with my left foot. I am now 3 months post surgery, I’m confident he has resolved my issue.
I highly recommend him, he is most competent and pleasant to deal with.

Dr. Sullivan tried to treat my plantar fasciitis for a year, with no success. He gave me pills and a brace and some exercises, but no improvement. I was in pain every step. After an MRI, he thought I should consider surgery. I didn't want surgery so I asked for a physical therapy referral. After three months of intense physical therapy, I am now pain free and getting back into running. Dr. Sullivan let me go a year without even suggesting PT. Had I not asked, I might be recovering from an unnecessary surgery right now!

Hi My name is Chris, I'm roughly in my late 20s and I recently had an ingrown toenail that was in need of getting cut out. I honstely didn't know where to begin looking for a specialist. like anyone else I went to google and saw the ratings, reviews, and the stars that all speak for themselves for Dr. Sullivan's office. It is a comforting and very well organized facility. His staff is down to earlth and very conforting in explaining the steps both pre and post check in and out. I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Sullivan for a broken/dislocated toe, after first Googling Podiatrists in Virginia Beach. Based on very positive reviews, I scheduled my appointment. His staff was very responsive and courteous, and the office environment well managed and clean. I have recently visited Dr. Sullivan’s office for an ingrown toenail that has been troubling me for quite some time. Before visiting this office, I have received services from another podiatrist and the ingrown toenail continued to grow incorrectly. However, after my first visit my nail has grown properly.
