Due to the severe labor shortage, we are forced to reduce the number of caters and party orders we can accept per day. We do a good number of funeral caters so they will always take priority over personal/business caters. At Country House Deli, we take pride in the fact that we buy the best in meats and cheeses, bake our bread, and make our soups and deli salads from scratch.
We make quality products so you know that what you are eating is both good and good for you. It's what makes CH Deli different from the fast and furious "how cheap can we make this thing" kind of sandwich shops.

Services
In 1976, Country House Deli began as a cheese and sausage shop. Country House has changed over the years and now features sandwiches, soups and salads, offers catering, but still offers meats and cheese over the counter. The Deli has become one of Bismarck's most unique restaurants, well-known locally for its Beer Cheese soup.
Due to the severe labor shortage, we are forced to reduce the number of caters and party orders we are able to accept each day. We are also busier than we have ever been and booking out 1-2 weeks in advance, so please plan accordingly. Unfortunately, orders needed within 24-48 hours are no longer realistic for us.
A. I don't trust them. When I serve my food, it comes with my own satisfaction guarantee. Once the food leaves my hands and goes into the hands of someone I do not have control over, I cannot guarantee anything. A. The cater fee is a 6% fee charged to orders of $500 and above. The fee covers the extra costs of packaging materials and worker overtime needed for larger orders that require work time beyond our normal hours of operation.

This has been my go-to sandwich shop for a long time. Should have written this well earned review some time ago. Seriously the BEST deli in Bis-Man. Sandwiches are delicious. All sorts of amazing salads and countless varieties of fresh baked breads. They have also catered some small parties for me and did an outstanding job. Highly recommend they treat all their customers like family!

This is probably my favorite sandwich and soup place. They have a cheese soup and it is great and the thing about that was I was nervous to try the cheese soup but I loved it! The sandwich I had was really good! The nice thing about this place is that they will let you make a sandwich and that is what I did so if you want a sandwich that isn't listed on the menu, you can create a custom sandwich! This was a great place to eat at and I will come again soon!

Very good little local sandwich shop. Home cooked soups and small town value. Had a special today a "small Milwaukee" summer sausage Colby cheese tomato and lettuce and a home made cup of tomato soup and a soda for 7.50. Bread has to be made in house, I had the cheese bread so did kids, very well done! Very tasty soup, def not corporate crap.
Skip the drive through and support local!!

Really great subs! The atmosphere kinda gives me lunch room vibes. I would recommend a club sub if you like a classic sandwich with bacon. The sauce was wonderful!
Restaurant is kid friendly as far as the set up. High chairs are available.
Didn't use the restrooms
But very clean place.
Try it for yourself

This is a great spot for lunch - I was in town for work and came here almost every day. The service is quick, and there was tons of variety, including many different (delicious) kinds of bread. The dark rye and sunflower seed were my two favorites. Would definitely recommend coming here for a quick lunch in Bismarck!

As of my most recent visit, they have done a bit of updating in the restaurant and have more normal hours. Their food is still as good as ever and they have added to their daily bread varieties (see menu).
The food is good and has been the same since I can remember - a good thing. However, the interior definitely needs some updating. The decor is mismatched and not in a charming way, and it doesn't look well cared for. That being said, the food really is good and is especially a hit when it appears as catering at special events. Look no further if you want a container of pasta salad that

We decided to stop by on the way out west based on some pretty high praise from some Yelpers. Unfortunately, this place didn't live up to its reputation. I ordered the special: hot ham and cheese on 7-grain with turkey noodle soup. The bread was ok, but the sandwich wasn't hot. The cheese wasn't melted, and we suspect it was microwaved. I liked the soup a lot, but the other menu items fell short for the rest of my party: the turkey and swiss was dry and my dad's special was similarly bland. My buddy had the Wrangler and felt his sandwich was good: "I've got nothing

The story of one mustachioed barista and the glowing flame of his skills setting the hills of Bismarck aglow.
I have been all over Bismarck looking for a decent cappuccino. Receiving nothing but seemingly endless cups half filled with bitter and unpalatable liquid topped with a solid puck of foam. Having giving up on Bismarck's ability to produce that warm and heavenly mixture of espresso and bubbles that I so longed after, I decided to try a Sandwich at Country House Deli. I ordered a Bismarck on sourdough (that's another delicious story) and just before I completed my order I saw on
