Laser eye surgery is a term widely used to define procedures that correct refractive errors in the eye (which lead to impaired vision), with the help of a highly focused light. It is also known as laser vision correction, and involves using a laser to alter the shape of the cornea, changing the shape of the surface of the eye.
A cataract is a clouding of the natural lens inside your eye and is considered a normal part of the aging process. When light rays enter a healthy eye, they pass through the naturally clear lens where they are focused onto the retina to provide a clear image. When light rays enter an eye with a cataract, they are distorted which creates a hazy or blurred image.
Glaucoma is a group of related eye disorders that can cause damage to the optic nerve, which carries information from the eye to the brain. Since glaucoma does not have many initial symptoms, people with glaucoma are often unaware of it. The best treatment is early detection so yearly eye exams are recommended.

I cannot praise the Dr or staff enough for care of my newly diagnosed bilateral Wet Macular Degeneration. When the Dr told me "you will feel absolutely NO PAIN with (these) injections into retina, I "just knew he had to be wrong...that I would feel SOMETHING", WELL, once again, life has taught me a lesson....I felt absolutely NO PAIN!!! Dr and staff are EXCELLENT in keeping the patient informed, and very caring! Fresno is LUCKY!

Wasted an hour at this office. I checked in with the only receptionist at the front desk and 45 minutes later I’m told I’m not checked in by the new receptionist that took the first receptionist’s place?? I’ve had corrective surgery here over 20 years ago, but office is not what it used to be. Some sort of shared office now, confusing if you’re not a regular. Front office doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing.

Waited 6 years for this surgery. Was referred by a friend to go here. I am so glad I did. Staff is so friendly and very attentive. Quick to reply to my questions via phone and email. Jessica coordinator is awesome. Dr Poulsen is so nice. I was scared at first but they alleviated any fear in me. Front receptionist super sweet and acknowledges everyone who comes in.
Would recommend this office if ever considering Lasik eye surgery.

Jessica and Dr Poulsen are awesome. Overall a amazing experience, friendly environment, they make you feel very comfortable. Getting LASIK done is scary for a lot of people, including me. Jessica and Poulsen made me feel comfortable. Even after the procedure they treated me the same. They are not just nice to you so you can become a patient with them, they actually care about their patients. I recommended them to my sister and she also got her PRK done from them. We actually drove from Manteca to Fresno to get this done. I will refer others to them as well.

I have had two cataract surgery's, and another surgery to remove horrible floaters. Dr. Poulsen and Dr. Bertolucci have been FANTASTIC! the whole experience with In Sight Vision Center has been great! Great experience, only downside it having to wait way past appointment time. But after you are called-- Just Great!

Dr Salahuddin is compassionate and an excellent doctor. He got me in right away for an eye emergency. He diagnosed a condition requiring a sub specialist and him and his office helped me see the other physician the same day due to the emergency. Dr Salahuddin saved my vision and I will always be grateful.

Up Date- what a waste of time. i had the glasses made elsewhere, as soon as i put them on, i knew the prescription was wrong. i didn't come back here since they did not get my exam and prescription right the first time (after the 1.5 hour wait), i doubted they would get it right the second time. I paid out of pocket to go someplace else since i used my yearly insurance benefit here.
I got a new prescription and Eyeglass world is remaking the glasses free of charge.
based on my personal experience,
I would give Insight negative 5 stars if that was an option.
