From appointments to insurance, we detail the important areas of being a patient of our podiatry clinic. On your first visit, we recommend arriving at least 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment with all of your patient paperwork filled out already. If you have already met with your family physician or another podiatrist regarding your foot complaint, it is helpful to request your records before your initial appointment.
Scott W. Berneburg, DPM, is the physician and surgeon at our clinic. Shortly after completing his surgical residency, Dr. Berneburg was recruited to Southern West Virginia to provide quality foot and ankle care. He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He founded the Beckley Foot & Ankle Clinic practice in 1997, and eventually opened additional hospital-based practice sites at Pocahontas Memorial, Summersville Memorial, and Summers County Appalachian Regional.Dr. Berneburg also served residents at the Pinecrest Hospital state facility for several years.

From Charleston: Take I-77 South to Exit 44 (Harper Road). Turn right at the traffic light onto Harper Road, and then turn left onto Harper Park Drive at the first traffic light. We're located in the first building on the left. From Princeton: Take I-77 North to Exit 44 (Harper Road) and follow directions from there as explained in the directions from Lewisburg.
